Stil onto that? I liked Majora's Mask better than any game on GameCube, still all of those had better graphics. My first thought was the same about the Wii startup sequence, to be fairly honest. But if you think that the thing is on 24 hours per day, it's handy to quickly flip to where-ever you want to be. The blue light seems to be off a lot of the times I see Wii now. Wel, we'll just see... Oh, where did you get that info on the whote box?

In reviews it could be handier saying 'pressing + shows the inventory', easier than 'pressing back' or 'pressing pause' - it just doesn't fit that well with A, B, 1 & 2.
-
The + and - buttons are actually much better looking on the controller. Simplicity is what they aim for.

Didn't know what Wii was? Understatement of the year, me think. I can understand why they think it's boring. You're with four people with one playing a single-player game. All the guys want to grab their mitts on the controllers and play some more Wii, instead they have to look at someone playing probably the Best-Game-Ever. I'de be pretty bored and unamused myself, to be honest. Theyt've tried their best, now let's keep our personal opinions uninfluenced by this and move on. I know it. You all know it. Wii know it. We will love Wii.

I'm in Art School, and ask anyone what program they are using for their digital imagery, they'll all answer paint. Paint. Paint. Not photoshop. 'Too complex' - but Photoshop is not complex, it's just english (most of the versions) and therefore harder to use (I'm from Belgium). But if you know WHAT you're doing, it should be no problem. They all are, however, talking about 'photoshopping'... But okay, back to topic now would be a good idea.

DS Game in a cardbox case? Don't believe that one, if I may. And about buying a DVD box for it, you don't have a cover for that box and there are no white cases avaible (as far as I now) so easely, so damn that. However, since I will worship the Wii Box itself too, I'll probably stack it in there untill it's party-time. The package is looking sleek. I've being looking to the PS3 packing and it comes in an old, boring, cardboard box. Wii also comes in cardboard, but a cardboard that looks nice inside and is easy to stuff it back into. Nintendo really must have bought aa handfull of iPods and a stack of iMacs and stole all the details, from glossy white exterior for hardware, to designed boxes that also look good. All the details are nicely finished. Nintendo is the Apple of gaming. New, innovative, and glossy white. Oh, and let's not forget: they're the underdog that has an incredible range of software that's much beter than the competition's. But Apple only has about 5% market share... Well, we know Nintendo isn't heading that way - last time we got away with a litle less than ten. Now we're going up to more than twenty (note: rough guess).

Game Mania Genk, About 10:30 (If I'm lucky and the teachers don't make the tests to hard to let me stayt the full monthy (four hours instead of just two)). Then, I'll be waiting till 12:00 for my dad to stop working and bring me home (I'm not biking my Wii Home). Long two hours. Or not. We'll just see. Looking forward, though, 'cause zelda will be my friday-sweet-treat...

To be honest, those reviews Dante posted are stupid. I've only heard positive responses on Super Monkey Ball. But even so, I won't buy it. and the comparison, well, it's bein said: it's a sales-issue. Poor.

Yes. twentyseven days to go. My pre-order is pretty much guaranteed so yey! Everything is set to go. Now let's fix the television my brother broke so I can play through the night without having to stop for my parent's wanting to watch their soap or National Geographic (they alwalls fall asleep in front of that one, but changing channels is not an option, they awake as soon as you do so). I'm almost ready to go. I can't wait... Oh, and where did the countdown timer go to? It was ugly as hell, but it helped.

There have bein ads hanging around on gamesindustry.biz for about a month now, but outside of that I thought that the huge 'Wii' with the date in magazines (I saw it in NGamer) was just an introduction courtesy of the staff, because they're huge fans or something like that. Because there ain't even an Nintendo logo on the ad, nopr any trademark or copyrighjt issues, so it's a poor ad this way. We'll jsut see how that works out, but with roughly four weeks to ge (and on in the Americas), it's about time they started the ad-wagon. Offtopic: IE is a worldwide standard, but it interpretets the HTML wrongly, even if it's writin correctly. And IE has a incredible insecure system were virusses and SPAM just walk through without problem. Luckily, MicroSoft IE 7.0 will be beter for support with HTML and more secure thanks to it's seperation for the normal explorer. Microsoft does listen every once in a while - and most of the while when it's starting to lose market share to firefox and other browsers...

Someone at the GameSpot Forums said that the GameSpot gamers are probably better gamers than us. That's not true. There are no grades in being a gamer in a new game, or a new console. You can't say that someone is going to play better Zelda with a new control-interface than me the first time, even if they're playiong videogames their whole life. Totally right.

The one thing that was all of a sudden gone when you relaunched the site. It's a welcome addition, at least, because replying (how do you actually write that? replieing? Replying?) on forums isn't 'Da Real Ting'.. Great stuff.

It seems odd to me that America is getting such a huge amount - almost the triple of Europe. I personally doubt, but we'll see. I'm thinking I'll have mine on D-Day. Or should I say Wii-Day (ha! didn't see that one coming, did you!)

We aare hyped, but we are Nintendo fans. If we were Sont fans, we might be just as excited and if you were Xbox-diehard a year ago, you'de eagerly be awaiting the 360. Don't know if our Hype is the only hype this generation...

The first waiters for PS3 are in line too, check the report on engadget.com . Queuing for PS3 is not a bad idea, since the chances of getting one are as real as stumbling upon a bucket of gold burried by the midgets at the end of the rainbow. Almost none, that will be...

I really like the Wii points boxart, to be honest. Oh, and by the way - lovely design for the boxes...

I've got exams that day - so staying out of school is not an option. At least, as long as the doctor doesn't co-operate. But I'll only have two required hours of school, and two optional; then we're of to 'studie'. Yeah, studie. On a friday. Still a month to go... One full month untill Zelda. Sob.

This will be in my home that day. Buying extra contrllers at christmas, though. (And for those who can't make anything of the pic, Wii (+remote and nunchuk), Wii Sports (duh) and Zelda. Predictable...)
-
You. Are. Right. Everyone is talking about three pre-orders, wich means the amount divided by three would give the real preorders... I've only got one, though. And I got mine at launch. Real Ninty fans have placed their pre-order months ago. Two, to be precise...

Personally, it looks Bulky and it totally forgets the concept of putting the controller on the table and make people wonder how to play with it. Plus, i find it ugly...

I personally think Iwata strays off from his questioning-position. However, I finjd that Nintendo's image certainly will change (and has changed) thanks to this man. We don't have allot to thank Yamauchi for, except him to serve as leather for purses when he's dead. I think Iwata has a personality - certainly because he gives english speaches, wich, to be honest, is a good way for him to show that he actually want to promote Nintendo. Great man, but that's my thought.

November 11: www.gamepowerexpo.be at Flanders Expo
Jasper replied to nicolasmasset's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It's a small (well, small, it's flanders expo) videogaming event on par with the E3. Wel, not on par, but you can think of it like a playtesting area for gaming. I'm not going, because the ads are hideous and the expo is gigantic. i'de rather have went to the E3 this year as it's ,my wet dream and it's over now. Well, we'll just see what it brings... -
Japanese don't trust a guy with no arms or legs? God knows. Perhaps because the Japanese think of them more as those wacky bunnies themselves. They resemble. And if you can resemble yourself with a game, you buy. Wazaa!

Game Mania in Genk (Belgium) is guessing they're getting about thirty Wii's at launch, wich is the number they heard 'floating around' - wich will cover my pre-order. Yes!

Looks good, but I don't really think it comes close to matching iTunes. Again, Microsoft is running late and showing its original approach by adding features iTunes had a long time ago. It's no ease to work with WMP. On the IE 7.0 subject, though, it's the most insafe and incorrect browser in the world. Switch to FireFox 2.0 and enjoy surfing the web like it should. No wrong showing of HTML, that is...
