  1. played BK through from start to finished, enjoyed it heaps. but i really cant be stuffed going back and finding all the magnus cards. it would also be a struggle to play it through again...
  2. wholeheartedly agree. i wouldnt believe the dates in the slightest. seeing as nobody has any idea on what the system does/capable of, i cant see any "real" release dates being released soon. just wait til e3.
  3. can we assume that this will be the same system as the "NES Classics" that are currently being released on the GBA? ive been pondering how nintendo would do the retro games thing for a while now, and seeing as the revo doesnt seem to come with a hard drive, i came to the conclusion (im sure a lot later than most... but anyway) that they would be on discs. then i came up with an interesting way that this could be done. maybe you would download the games and then burn them (using revo) onto a "magical nintendo disc" (which is how nintendo would make their money). this would save nintendo stocking large numbers of 'old games' on shelves, and people would EASILY be able to get the games that they want. so yeah. thats my extraordinary idea. im sure that its wrong and wont happen, but i still dont see how ninty will pull off the retro game scene.
  4. 4D takes into account that every point in space (whether it be cartesian, spherical or polar coordinate systems) has a time related to it. this is taken into account in relativity, when approaching the speed of light space distorts and time dilates. oh dear, it seems that someone has a degree in physics here : peace: if you simply mean to associate time with games, this was also seen in pokemon gold and silver. but i have a bad feeling that you meant something else... something more sinister...
  5. to be completely honest, i cannot be stuffed swinging a sword. seriously, i think the prospect of playing a zelda game with the revo controller to be completely insane. i can see the controller being used for minigames (eg. fishing)/ but for general gameplay it will be stupid. dont get me wrong, i love the zelda series, i thought WW was amazing and think the MM was the best of the lot. but come on! when i play a game, i cant be stuffed jumping around like a dickhead swinging a remote at the screen! dont get me wrong, i am an energetic person (i do part time work at a farm), but this sounds like to much energy for gaming! believe me when i say that i would love nintendo to prove me wrong.
  6. you make it sound as if info is deliberately leaked...
  7. perfect dark for sure. it would be nice to have some giant battles again, but without the lag of 8 players with grenade launchers. earthbound is an awesome game. very strange though. i thnk i would also get 'illusion of time'. love that game.
  8. Was it the wrong thing for me to create such a controversial thread? Well, whether it is or isnt, it is something that i would like to discuss. I have noticed that this game really gets a bad rap from a lot of people... and im failing to understand why! I own the game, grabbed it as soon as it hit stores, and am enjoying it a lot. i have noticed that a common arguement is "Sonic with guns = bad", but for some reason (in my opinion) the game still plays like a "sonic game". it is fast paced, has all the sonic characters scattered about the place, and learning of shadows past is great! maybe those who dont like the game havent picked up a good book before? because i found the story quite entertaining... im not sure if those who are needlessly slandering the game have played the game before... but they seem to be missing the point completely. anyway, im sure that ive said plenty for you guys to have a shot at me for. so ill end my post now, and leave ya's to it!
  9. MMORPG would screw zelda. plain and simple. i do like the pokemon idea though. i can see hoards of people teaming up with their pikachus all trying to take out a giant rarely spawning lugia... then some dirty sod sneaking in and catching it, pissing off thousands upon thousands of gamers!
  10. just extending on this, the graphics thing is mainly with the casual gamers who are unsure of what game system to buy. i mean think about it. if you like a system because they release "This kind of game", you would get it regardless of the graphic quality. im sure that if "GTA : Insert city name here" wasnt all the graphically nice, people would still get it regardless. anyway. im goin to bed. all this being logical is tiring.
  11. before a bunch of N-heads go and shoot themselves, can i just note this: i got this from here Everything is still speculation. The way that i interpret this, is that Nintendo has simply said "aim for a game of 'this' quality". and the 3rd party groups still have no idea what the hell is going on!!! also, none of the 3rd party groups seem to agree on what the exact number for the RAM is... same article, this was also mentioned... there is nothing to say that this little machine that everyone is looking forward to cant be expanded. (remember the N64...) anyway, im gonna stop my rant. there is a bloody great thunderstorm outside, and i dont want my computer to get fried... ciao!
  12. oh the joys of being popular keep up the good work mate. can't wait for the ghost's of xmas past, present and future to show their faces! Me thinks you have some work ahead of ya!
  13. Genius! I like your style
  14. yes. very nice little site. i really do like their sales pitch: "Every gamer who plays. Every gamer who used to play. Even those who are yet to play. Revolution is for you." very nice. myes. very nice.
  15. my cube still gets used plenty. if im bored, ill have a couple of quick bouts of melee, or have a quick spin (so to speak) of a sonic game.
  16. Dan, i am extremely jealous. Muse would have been amazing! As would Franz Ferdinand... i dont mind their new album! Once you get over the fact that its different, its quite good! Best gig ive been to was "Hot Hot Heat" who are a Canadian band, and are very good and energetic on stage. also the other people watching the show were not dickheads. HHH were lead in by a Sydney group called "Faker"... who are fantastic! cant speak highly enough of them!
  17. haha. very nice. maybe get the moderators to make a sticky thread for ya to post your comics in?
  18. Shigeru Seinfeld? "You know what i find interesting about the Xbox360? It seems to have everything! I mean damn, the system is big enough that it can even incorperate the kitchen sink!" Du dum dum clang! <<<<<<thats the drum thing followed by a clash of the symball when someone does a joke. 7:53pm here in Aus, and still waiting for an announcment...
  19. i never read reviews... because people's opinions (which is what a review is) tend to vary a fair bit... and after the whole "Sonic games on cube are crap/good" arguement, i tend to stay quite far away from them. i mean, ive seen reviews of "Shadow the Hedgehog" getting in the 50's... but i love the game! anyway, with that rant over... what makes me buy a game? 1. series if i see a game with the word 'zelda' or 'starfox' in it... i will usually give it serious thought. 2. fun i dont give a rats arse about graphics. as long as a game is fun, it will keep me happy for ages. an example of this is the mario tennis series. because i'll be honest, tennis can be a little boring at the best of times... but these games are amazing! i cant make any neato topic headers anymore... but i will say that i will usually buy an rpg that comes out, and i dont like racing games or fighting games... (but funnily enough, im addicted to SSBM)
  20. yer. seen that one before. interestingly enough, i was shown that by my best friend who is a choir girl! the zelda bit cracks me up the most.
  21. where i am (Victoria/Australia), i have found that places are still selling the gamecube stuff, but it tends to get put to the side. there is only one major chain that i know of (BigW in Ballarat) that no longer sells gamecube stuff. Electronics Boutique is still a big seller, as is Games Rush. i dont think that there will be any real problem (as has been mentioned by our Irish friends). But the fact that there is no real advertising campaign over here is the only real concern. but in saying that, i saw an advert for 'shadow the hedgehog' today. it was pretty crap to say the least, and it also had an XBox and PS3 label on it... but it was a ninty game nontheless! even more interesting was the SonicRush ad that was tacked onto the end of the Shadow ad...
  22. i wholeheartedly agree. i havent read the rest of the posts but i believe that you cant really compare handheld systems to console. but arent the ideas between the ds and the revo basically the same? with "direct" user interactivity with the gaming environment? the only games ive played on the ds are warioware touched and nintendogs, and i think that they used the stylus technology plenty good.
  23. i got a change of opinion, and that is that Shigsy isnt going to reveal much at all. Seeing as "everything will be revealed" on May 19th, it will only be something minor to entertain the masses.
  24. Apparantly they (Nintendo) have hooked up MP2 with the revo controller, and it worked wonderfully! but then again, would they say that regardless?
  25. Me thinks 1. Shigsy will enter the stage in a very dramatic way,,, 2. Reveal the name 3. Shell is a possibility... seeing as Ninty loves saying about how they know everything and that we know nothing and that they are god and we will never know what the hell is happening with the revolution until its in our living room. 4. I personally think a couple of tech demos is quite likely. We have seen NOTHING of the Revolution at the moment... and this would be a good time to make the 'average consumer' second guess getting an Xbox360
