  1. Oh god. I just downloaded the new Muse song. I want to like it but it just doesn't do it for me. It sounds way overcooked as if they let some Britney Spears producer add all these distortions to it. This can't be happening........this is Muse for christ's sake, they can't ever be bad! EVER!
  2. Grainified SLR scan. Taken about 500m from a powerstation.....I could basically feel the tumors growing in my brain while standing under these lines to take this pic.
  3. Apparently removing hair from the 'crack' region results in a condition known as 'sweaty ass syndrome'.
  4. Is that 'ideal' or an actual recount? Either way.....25 drinks and you'd be severe state of retardedness.
  5. Wow, looking awesome Joby. I saw a clip from it about six months ago and the added special effects look wicked sick! I'm getting me a copy - you gotta support new talent!
  6. Hair removal cream. Veet or Nair. Don't wax. You'll rip your balls off. And it's nigh on imposible to shave your sack without slicing it up.
  7. That flesh eating one......... that takes about 2 days to ravage your body....
  8. Wouldn't it be easier to just state a disease you wouldn't mind having.... Actually......that's kinda difficult...
  9. If you ask me, that's totally illogical. And I would know. But seriously, the test is bollocks......I hate maths, hate it! All of you would be better than me....I didn't even do maths in my final year of high school cuz I hated it so much. And now it's got me paranoid that it said feckall about being creative, which concerns me more than being logical!
  10. Your IQ score is 152. This means that you are smarter than 99.9% of all other Super IQ test takers. Your test results indicate that the way you process information makes you a Numerical Logician. You're exceptionally strong in mathematics and exceptionally good at using logic to solve problems. Let's put it this way — you have a way with numbers and can probably apply reason to anything and come out on top. Your spatial abilities (ability to understand the relationship between objects and physical space) are also very strong, and you can easily understand things on a complex, abstract level. There is very little — if anything — you can't do, but you are probably known for your unusually strong numerical abilities. WTF.......I hate maths, and it doesn't say much about being particularly creative which I'd prefer as I'm studying design.
  11. I think the idea was to cause people to panic. Awesome publicity stunt if you ask me. Plus, if you think terrorists are retarded enough to advertise impending attacks you deserve to be scared.
  12. The only April Fools joke I have ever successfully pulled off is the totally unoriginal 'switch the sugar in the sugarbowl with salt'.
  13. Like Ramar said, radiation doesn't feel warm, although microwave radiation does. If laptops happen to generate microwaves you could be possibly baking you beans.
  14. They showed the Scientology episode over here, but pulled the Bloody Mary one becuase they were worried with all the cartoons of the Prophet stuff happeneing. Just proves that Scientologists have issues. How many times has Christianity taken the piss of South Park? One episode on Scientology and Issac Hayes quits and Tom Cruise threatens to pull out of Mission Impossible 3 if it got shown in the US.
  15. Sure. You can try and raise awareness about a certain issue, but when you fail to have the ability to see that your opinion is no more valid than anyone elses, ie: call someone who doesn't agree with you an 'ignorant fuck'. Y'know, it doesn't really pave the way for constructive debate over the issue. Therefore the big padlock is coming out.
  16. Are you sure Havana Affair is on the new album? That came out on 'We're a Happy Family - Ramones Tribute' - and that's been out for almost as long as By The Way.

    Cannabis

Cannabis can lead to cocaine use. I was at a party once and someone passed me what I thought was a joint. I realised after the severe burning sensation to my throat and nose subsided that I had in fact unwittingly smoked some crack. Plus, weed makes you act like a dickhead. No one likes a smelly, squinty, bloodshot eyed, giggling fool.
  18. Randomly thrust a knife into your lower torso, should hit the right spot sooner or later. Might wanna rub some Dettol around the wounds when you're done.
  19. The FF-G cups had surprisingly small nipples, unlike the usual 'biscuits' for boobs that massive.
  20. I think alot of the members there just need to look outside of DA for inspiration and ideas, it's gotten to a point where it's this massive cycle of repeated variations of other members work. It wouldn't hurt some of them to check out some art exhibitions...
  21. The Empire State was primarily constructed with reinforced concrete where the WTC Towers were constrcuted with steel as the mafia held a monopoly in the cement business at the time of their construction, therefore making the concrete choice too expensive. The concrete would have reacted differently to the raging inferno from the exploding planes. Plus the plane that hit the Empire State could have been carrying less fuel, made of different materials etc.
  22. I was browsing through Deviant Art the other day and it kinda struck me that there's not a hell alot of original interesting work there. For example, check out the Abstract Wallpapers and sort by Top Rated, the first three pages is basically the same lookin stuff. And there's so many artists there who do the same work over and over (ie vector car art ad nauseum). Or am I just being a whinger?
  23. Yeah we talked about the difference of early european colonial art compared to aboriginal art last semester quite a bit. It's interesting how the different of perspectives of the two cultures of the land influenced their artwork. On one hand you have european art that had basically been focused on representing the real for a few hundred years, and then the aboriginies who never even thought of trying to replicate the real in paint or whatever. In a sort of way they jumped the gun on the whole impressionist/cubist movement by about 30,000 years.
