Owen Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Obviously re-confirmed it to make sure people like me don't say it's not out till next year! Thanks NOE!
ShadowV7 Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Obviously re-confirmed it to make sure people like me don't say it's not out till next year! Thanks NOE! I see it now. November 2nd "Yea we're gonna have to pull this back..." What's the big appeal about this to you guys? Do you just swim about the place looking for a new pet goldfish?
Cube Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 What's the big appeal about this to you guys? I just sounds......nice.
ShadowV7 Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 It's online aswell isn' it? And you and a friend travel about the place or something? I need to watch some videos on this and try and get the feel of it.
... Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 And that it will be called Endless Ocean, I'm guessing they decided on that over Forever Blue as it sounds less like a porno that way. Forever Blue sounds like a porno to you....??
flameboy Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 I see it now. November 2nd "Yea we're gonna have to pull this back..." What's the big appeal about this to you guys? Do you just swim about the place looking for a new pet goldfish? I think it is the same unexplainable appeal that comes with Animal Crossing, try and explain it to someone and it just makes no sense...
RedShell Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Forever Blue sounds like a porno to you....?? You know blue, as in blue movie... Yeah err... Never mind. I think it is the same unexplainable appeal that comes with Animal Crossing, try and explain it to someone and it just makes no sense...That's the one. To be honest I can totally understand why some people are like "what the hell?" especially among seasoned gamers. But I'm really looking forward to this, have been since it was first announced. I get the feeling this is going to do really well in Europe actually. Most of the touch generations titles have gone down great, think it'll be the same story with this.
ShadowV7 Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 I think it is the same unexplainable appeal that comes with Animal Crossing, try and explain it to someone and it just makes no sense... Ah I see. You are right though, Animal Crossing is a hard game to describe. Is this game focused on exploring underwater? Cause I liek adventuring around places. and I just noticed this as RedShell posted above that this was a Touch Generation game, does that mean it's £19.99? If it is then chances are i'll get it.

I've heard RRP of £29.99...but perhaps it will be like BBA having a relatively late drop to £19.99.... I just can't wait to get this and just spend some very tranquil time swimming around...
ShadowV7 Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 I quite like snorkling and looking about in the sea so i'm kinda looking forward to this aswell. Least when I play this I won't be surrounded by really cold water. Man, my poor wallet. It sees it's death.
Owen Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 ShadowV7 watch the vid with the girl singing the soothing cool music and the diver going under a massive shark, and you'll want it. I've said it before, but it will be the sleeper hit of the year! Watch this space!
welsh_gamer Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 and I just noticed this as RedShell posted above that this was a Touch Generation game, does that mean it's £19.99? Well Gameplay have it down for £17.99 pre-order now, and they were one of the first stores to lower the Big Brain Academy Wii price down from £35 to £17.99, so it seem's this may well be a budget title.
Cube Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 £19.99 at GAME. They also used that price for BBA earlier than most places.
gaggle64 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 For £20 I Simply have to give this a whirl.
Coolness Bears Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Hmm... the price has increased my interest in the game!
flameboy Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 That price point makes me wonder how fully featured this will be....will it be largely lacking the "game" department or not? I mean will the tasks side of it, that which makes it a little more like a traditional game will be short lived?
... Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Many games at full price are short lived. Do you consider a 7-10 hour game long? The Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil games are around 10 hours long. If this game has at least those hours and for budget price I don't see how people can complain. Unless they don't like the theme, in which case they shouldn't buy it.

I love the look of EO and will defo be getting it...
... Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Well, I personally have a preference for longer games, though I don't mind shorter ones. I do like a long single player epic campaign. I'm still not decided about this Foh-eh-bah Bu-ruh, aka Enderess Osh-an. Since I have no way of trying it before, I'll wait for the western world reviews and see what they say and watch some videos. Then we'll see. In the mean time, there's plenty to sink my teeth into, with MP3, SMG and Tomb Raider Anniversary up till December.
Gizmo Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I think I'll wait and see peoples reactions to it on various forums before I decide whether or not to get it. Assassins Creed and Mario Galaxy, my two most wanted games, come out a week later, so I'll probably end up buying it for myself sometime next year.
The-Ironflame Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Well I didn't get to pick up before it went up in price cos now I'm thinking of getting this.
RedShell Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Well Gameplay have it down for £17.99 pre-order now, and they were one of the first stores to lower the Big Brain Academy Wii price down from £35 to £17.99, so it seem's this may well be a budget title.Looks like it was a mistake: http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/productpage.asp?productcode=NW0192 It's gone up on other sites too. Luckily I ordered when it was £18! Was debating cancelling it the other day too (what with all the strike shit that's going on) but now that it's not budget I'll be sticking with it. Hope Royal Mail's running when this comes out though!
flameboy Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 bummer...probably not gonna get this till next year now it isn't budget. What a bummer for retailers they'll be losing money on early preorders! Full price wii games dealer price are £22-£27! Ahh well makes up for all the times they rip us off...
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 The price and the box art has rendered this game purchasable from me.
