Ashley Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 A work of fiction of course, but Channel Four's upcoming made-for-TV movie Death of a President will use digital trickery to accurately show George Bush being assassinated, and then the film will deal with the fallout of it all. Source
Kaeporagaebora Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 I wonder if it's because they hate Bush just that much, or it's just a coincidence that he's the president at the time. But, according to the curse of Tippacanoe(read about it somewhere-every president voted in on a year ending in 0 has died except Reagan), Bush should die while in office.
Shorty Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 And everyone who discusses this show on the phone or internet is going to get a knock at the door from the FBI
KKOB Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 yes!!!! we can make believe there IS justice in the world!!
rokhed00 Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 We don't want a mockumentary about him being shot, we want him in front of a firing squad to be televised worldwide.
Twozzok Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Problem with Bush being assasinated, is that would mean Cheny would be in office.
demonmike04 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Well, this wont be going stateside. Anything that has any unpositive comment about bush from here never makes it there. *cough*2DTV*cough*
knightendo Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 yeh, like george michael's excellent wag the dog. it's been reported that the "americans" didn't like it... when in truth it was just bush's administration throwing their toys outta the pram. if ONLY this show were real!!!! {{knock, knock}}}
BeerMonkey Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 would be funny if someone didnt know about the show and turned over to channel 4 just as he was getting shot...o no poor bush
CoolFunkMan Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 We don't want a mockumentary about him being shot, we want him in front of a firing squad to be televised worldwide. That would be better. Although this is god enough for now, until someone really assasinates him.
BlueStar Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Problem with Bush being assasinated, is that would mean Cheny would be in office. He's easier to assasinate though, you just sneak up behind him and pop a balloon.
Dan_Dare Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Problem with Bush being assasinated, is that would mean Cheny would be in office. beat me to it. as much as Bush is a total fuckwit, Cheny is, for want of a better word, pure evil. He's part of the whole project for the new american centuary shit. The guy deserves to be buried alive.
Dieter Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 And if Bush really gets shot, then which popular media will the politicians point at?
Haden Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Too easy, Channel 4. Too easy. Couldn't agree more. The popular masses will lap this up like the angry cosmopolition mob they are.
Kaeporagaebora Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 The thing people seem to ignore is what really happens when a president gets assassinated. You know a guy named John F. Kennedy? For lack of a better word, he was a shit-wad of a president, but because he was killed in office, he's now an "American Hero" And Lincoln was treated like shit worse than Bush, battered by all media outlets while he was president, but is now considered one of the greatest men who ever lived. Believe me, if Bush was assassinated, the U.S. would be one pissed off country. And Bush would be hailed as great hero. IF he dies, that is. Let the flaming begin.
