Rob3008 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 The UK was really skanked Paper Mario is such a rarity here and if you find it, it goes for huge money! But in the US, it's just $20! I really want Mario Power Tennis on the cheap, but it's such a rip-off everywhere! We need some more!

I really want Mario Power Tennis on the cheap, but it's such a rip-off everywhere! We need some more! hmmm, yeah, judging from US... ToS, RE4 and Paper Mario (and possibly more) could be players choice already... But I for one refuse to buy PAL player's choice games because of that horrible cover... The US Players Choice cover is nice though, it's not... flashy, or rather... "Silverish".
BGS Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I'm sure a saw a cheap Mario Tennis in town today actually. Can't remember if it was second hand or not though. How much are you wanting to pay for it?

immy Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I don't think it will happen, the wii is so close.
ThePigMarcher Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 The UK was really skanked No surprises there. Thank god for the import option , although I appreciate that some prefer not to do that.
froztyman Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 if it goes players choice in jpn and usa, should it not come here too soon? anyway, many games will drop in prices soon after the wii release, with or without central pricing...
Rob3008 Posted August 14, 2006 Author Posted August 14, 2006 anyway, many games will drop in prices soon after the wii release, with or without central pricing... While that's true, the fact that they're so difficult to find will really hinder it!
Adrian DX Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 It seems like Nintendo starts some kind of campaing and then forget about it. Theres no doubt that Resident Evil 4 is a players choice. What the heck!
froztyman Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 If a game keeps selling at full price theres no point in dropping the price, its the same thing with many PS2 games
Tellyn Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 GAME are now selling preowned Star Fox Adventures and other games for 3.99, no real need for it now. I'm hoping for some re-releases in Wii cases on games that I missed out on, or if it's possible some games like Miyamoto mentioned that contain the original version and a Wiimote functionable version of the game.
Zechs Merquise Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I would've loved to see more player's choice titles, I think the Mario sports games should've reached Palyer's Choice by now. But we won;t see anymore in Europe. I'm also pleased I wasn't the only one who hated the palyer's choice boxes! One other thing that annoys me, is that are plenty of classics from the States on eBay going as New/Sealed for $9.99 etc, but traking them down over here is virtually impossible. Europe always gets the shaft!
Tellyn Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Like I said though, they'll get more money out of some Best of GameCube packs.
Emasher Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 i wonder if we will get a wii-make of wind waker. (using tp controlls)
mcj metroid Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Yes i hate the lack of players choice titles.Did u know that mario kart double dash is still full price
Zechs Merquise Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Well, there are still places to pick up deals, Paly.com is a real gem!
flameboy Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 It seems like Nintendo starts some kind of campaing and then forget about it. Theres no doubt that Resident Evil 4 is a players choice. What the heck! yeah especially considering you can get it on platinum for PS2
Tellyn Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Yeah Tp controls for Wind Waker would be good.

Zechs Merquise Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I don't see why Nintendo doesn't release a special set of player's choice games in nice new white boxes to coincide with the release of Wii, after all, these budget titles could be played on either gamecube or Wii and could easily be used to boost the Wii's line up. I'd snap up Mario Tennis for £19.99!
Indigo Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 i wonder if we will get a wii-make of wind waker. (using tp controlls) I'd rather Nintendo focus their resources on bringing us original content rather than wasting time rehashing Gamecube games.
Nintendork Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 skanked, yes.. perfect description. i would also accept rape and bitch slapped.
