Posted July 2, 2006 You know, it's never too late to maybe repeat your A levels or do a year-ish course at uni, or some college, I mean, it would make it so much easier to get a job that you actually want, and instead of being turfed around, you could stick to one place that pays well and where you're happy working. Posted July 2, 2006 the album got 5 K's in the kerrang mag wouldve given it 3 K's myself as its not as good as the first 2 albums...but then again none of the songs on the new album are sh!te. Kerrang jsut rate popualr bands with high marks wether they like hem or not. Kerrang is shite. Also, people who say the AWP is a n00b weapon, jsut because someone is pwning with it. Posted July 2, 2006 if you want a nightmare looking for work try this: 18 months ago i left a job at the passport office. from there i was looking for work for 4 months and found one for RGIS inventory services after a month my boss sent me a letter saying i cant work for them anymore as i have done 2 no shows for jobs...which is bogus..i did 3 days a week and she wrote me down for 5. they wouldnt listen to reason so was unemployed again. next job was in july to sept at brewery temp through agency..then took me SIX! months to find work then at last got work at magor services but after 3 weeks they laid me off and ever since ive been looking (left services in april) bad year and half for work for me Wow that is bad. How old are you? It isn't too bad for me right now, cus I don't have to pay bills etc. But it doesn't make you feel too good when you sit at home day after day doing nothing, and having to get other people give you money. Posted July 4, 2006 I like the song "In The Morning" by Razorlight yet I hate Razorlight. Johnny Borrell is a tw*t! What also makes me angry is the huge sense of grandeur that many Birmingham City fans have for their team. They reckon they've been much better than Aston Villa throughout history. (Yeah, because they won 7 FA Cups, 5 League Cups including the inaugural tournament, 7 1st Division championships and 3 seperate European titles haven't they?) Plus they reckon that their ground is better than Villa Park. And they also reckon they're good enough to move to a 70,000 seater stadium (which they won't!) I hate people who do something and act like they are god for it. eg my little brother does little things round the house and always moans at me for doing nothing (and I do stuff, I just don't make a show about it). And then my friend at work did "a lot of work" and keeps going on about it. I just told him he was doing what he should be doing anyway, whats part of his job. And its what I do everytime im in. Hah, true, I did considered that but then I dismissed it as in reality, moaning is essential to our society, although this moaning is sometimes put under the guise of constructive criticism. If nobody ever moaned then nothing would ever change would it? If nobody moaned about having smoking ads on the TV then they have never got banned and thus more people would probably have started smoking, meaning mass death. See? Moaning can save peoples lifes. If the Suffragettes hadn't moaned about how they didn't have equality then nothing would ever have been done and women to this day would have no rights, still being allowed to be beaten by their husbands (this was in fact legal, but only if the woman was beaten with something less thick than a finger's width), still not being able to vote, still being subjected to mass sexism, and still be discriminated against. The same could be applied to racial equality. Do you now see the power of the moan? If people are unhappy at something they moan, they complian and sometimes as a direct consequence a change is made for the better. Moaning is an intergral part of out society. The majority of converstaions contain a moan in some form, for example "Grrrr why has Twilight Princess been delayed AGAIN" "Tch, it's soooo annoying, that referee was rubbish" "What the hell is Tony Blair doing with these new reforms" "Gah, the weather is sooo rubbish" "God damn, this bacon is burnt" etc etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
