Max Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 i feel for you dude. ps. villa again for weekend! gonna be very very tough! pay back on mind?
Ramar Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 In the man u vs villa fa cup match I don't know where the assistants got 4 mins added time from Typical Utd and Chelsea, get ungodly amounts of added time, every match.
Platty Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I think 4 minutes was correct. There was a total of 5 Subs made. Lots of corners, throw ins, goal kicks, time added after goals scored, fouls and freekicks and a couple of players going off the pitch for treatment. All that stoppage time added together is about 3-4 mins. So in my opinion the Ref was correct with his time keeping during that match.
Ramar Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 There was a total of 5 Subs made. Lots of corners, throw ins, goal kicks, time added after goals scored, fouls and freekicks Time is only added on for subs and injuries. Fouls, freekicks and goal kicks are all part of the game, and thus time should continue.
Eddage Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 To be fair 4 minutes was a bit extreme and if we had scored our goal in the fourth minute of added time then I would feel for ya, but the fact is we scored in the first minute! Now if Villa had then equalised in the 95th minute then I would have been extremely annoyed!
Noodleman Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 In the man u vs villa fa cup match I don't know where the assistants got 4 mins added time from The rules say you add 30 seconds on for each sub there was 5 subs that's 3 and a half minutes right there. and I imagine the other 30 seconds was for various stoppages. I seriously don't understand all the uproar over this, just because Motson is senile doesn't mean everybody else has to be, ignore the daft fool.
Charlie Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Arsenal just beat Liverpool 6-3 in the Carling Cup. Baptista got 4!
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Arsenal just beat Liverpool 6-3 in the Carling Cup. Baptista got 4! Hahaha, the world has gone mad. Will there be any highlights on tonight? I'm guessing....no? Pity, I wanna see what these goals were like. Arsenal fans sure got their moneys worth.

Fierce_LiNk Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Tomorrow night at 11 on ITV, Dudek continued his fine form from Saturday tbh. Nice one. I thought Liverpool were flogging Dudek anyway? Infact, wasn't the Champions League final meant to be his last game at Liverpool?
Ramar Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 WHO THE FUCKIN' HELL ARE POOL?! Rofl. 6-3, with a squad that consisted of nine teenagers and five englishmen.
Platty Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I watched the game and couldnt believe it. 6-3 LOL
Guest Stefkov Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 wow 6-3....damn i wanna see those goals. May have already been talked about but Man U and Portsmouth next in the FA cup. Dont know what to say, we've already beaten them in the Premiership, doesnt mean that we'll do it again.
gmac Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 first time Liverpool have conceded 6 at Anfield since 1914 and first time Arsenal have won there in the league cup

Fierce_LiNk Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 The F.A cup can fuck off and Barnet can fuck off *hugs the man of noodles* Hmm, Portsmouth in the cup. They can be a bit annoying sometimes, in the sense that they can beat us. Hmm, I hope we're on form that day.
BlueStar Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 6-3? Minutes silence before the next home game at Anfeild for that then.
Max Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 6-3? Minutes silence before the next home game at Anfeild for that then. thats gonna give arsenal a huge boost for the league match coming up. blackburn are going to die with agony! hahahaha
Ramar Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 thats gonna give arsenal a huge boost for the league match coming up. blackburn are going to die with agony! hahahaha Doubt it. Over half the 6-3 team won't be playing. Though we did hammer them in December.
Zell Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 All I have to say is... How can you concede 10 goals in 4 days against the same team?
Max Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 dont ask me, i thought they had a shot at the title race. *leaves conversation*
Colin Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Both squads put out weakened teams for that game though. And Arsenal still let in 3 goals. Carling cup doesn't really mean all that much compared to the others though it seems. Wouldn't mind seeing some of those goals though.
