Dyson Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Oh hell yes, what a day for football. The title race is backio! C'mon you blues!
Ramar Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Oh hell yes, what a day for football. The title race is backio! C'mon you blues! You're a chelsea fan.. Anyway. Another Members Day at the Emirates tomorrow, its free so I thought I might as well go along. Going to be shattered though, got in from work an hour ago, and I'm working tonight too.
BlueStar Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 My, there's a lot of people from Salford, Hammersmith, Merseyside and Islington on these boards.
Roostophe Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I hope Birmingham don't get promoted at the end of the season the dirty bastards. How they won 3-0 when we were on top most of the time I don't know. You and me both, mate. People say that the January Transfer Window will help all of Villa's problems, I don't, what's gonna happen if none of our new signings struggle to fit in? Will better players stop us from dominating a game yet end up losing because the opposite goalie had a good day? I don't think so.
Ramar Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Well Members Day yesterday was poor in comparison to the summer one. No announcements, no after training activities. it was very cold, and the players that played Saturday trained furthest away from the crowd. And what can only be assumed as tonights team trained closest. It started 30 minutes late, cost me £25 train ticket (bastard peek travel card) and if it wasn't for the fact I got me an Arsenal Santa's hat I'd be quite annoyed. (I'll post some pics later if people want me to). Bought two tickets to Arsenal vs Charlton today. ^_^ Sent me into the red, but payday is friday. :P
Happenstance Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Damn ref postponing the Liverpool Vs Arsenal match, I was looking forward to watching that tonight. Anyone see the interview with him on Sky Sports 1? Some of the Liverpool players were taking shots at the Ref and interviewer which is always good.
Stocka Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 It's a shame but i'm hardly pissed off, as i'm not one of the fans that travelled up there for the game.
Noodleman Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I really fear for Charlton now, would be a shame to see them go down.
Platty Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I really fear for Charlton now, would be a shame to see them go down. Me to. Charlton are only down the road from me and infact im going to see them against Fulham on the 30th. But to be honest I cant see them getting out of it. Big shame seen as 2 years ago they were pushing for Europe. Just shows you how good a manager curbishley was when he was there.
Guest Stefkov Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I'm really quite annoyed at the score for united v west ham. I watched MOTD, I knew they were playing I just didnt know what channel and when. Only after it was played I found out the time. I just didnt like what I saw. United pushed more and got more chances, but West ham a coupe and knocked one in. Larsson on in Jan I've not relaly heard of him so I'd like to see what he can do...dont flame me for not knowing who he is.
Max Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 man utd totally dominating the game, ronaldo and evra running the show but still no goals!!!
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 man utd totally dominating the game, ronaldo and evra running the show but still no goals!!! Ronaldo has just scored. I hope Evra nabs one. He is starting to become one of my favourites at United.
Max Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 scholes scored a screamer!!! OMG, what a volly! grab that one out of the net villa fans!
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Ronaldo's got another one. Wow, looks like we've bounced back from a defeat in style. Defeats are sometimes good for teams. Stops them getting tooo comfortable.
harribo Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 Mark Crossley(our keeper) scored a stoppage time equaliser today!!!!
Noodleman Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 The Charlton board have finally done something right. Got rid of that clueless idiot they had in charge and replaced him with Pardew, wont keep them up mind.
Blackfox Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Scholes' goal was awesome. Someone's been playing Pro Evo too much
Ramar Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 One Arsenal game I wanted to go to, but didn't not because of money, but because I was going to Iron Maiden, and we thrash the oppoenents. Adebayor strikes again, he changes my opinion of him every week, he's getting better and better. Glad RVP got on the score sheet. And nothing will stop the Flaminator the season!
the_villa Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I hope Birmingham don't get promoted at the end of the season the dirty bastards. How they won 3-0 when we were on top most of the time I don't know. your not the only one because I hope also that they don't get promoted
Max Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 OMG, reading just held chelsea, good work rate to get the last goal back to level!
Platty Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Reading should have won it Super sub Ronaldo just came on at half time and has scored 2 goals. In other news im going to see Charlton vs Villa on Saturday.. The valley is only down the road from me and tickets were only £20.
Max Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 man utd won 3-1, even with a weaker team. i think fergie is following in morinhos footsteps of keeping star player on the bench so when they come on they can change the game.

I think it's more about giving them a rest against "weaker" teams as they are playing 4 games over Christmas and New Year.
Goron_3 Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Bloody hell Ronaldo has been on FIRE recently! Also, LOL at chelsea :P
Colin Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Been some good games today. Looking forward to match of the day later this evening. Hopefully they'll show Scholes goal from Saturday (was ment to be a cracker), as BBC was cutting out at the beginning of MoTD that evening for some reason.
