spirited away Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 The one time I wanted Arsenal to win a game... Yer, was thinking exactly that myself . Ah well, we'll take Bolton and Everton don't worry . Need to win tonight, come on spurs! on a side note: 26 goals in last 8 games, that's about 3.25 goals per game .
Platty Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 it was. yea Solano is playing LB but he should play LW. He plays anywhere for peru. Weve also got Huntington form the acadamy. Bramble is shit. I cant remember the other. Martins is good but can be off form. Sibierski is good but cant score. There are other problems. Oh yea, we dont play Luque. Might be because hes pants. Actually Solano was playing right back and Duff...yes Damien Duff was left back.
Guest Stefkov Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Predictions for the United match tonight? I think it'll be a good game with United winning 2-1. So I was wrong, 1-0 united. Very good game though. My views have changed on Ronaldo, i thought he wasnt great, taking shots when a simple cross intothe box, but after his performance today, hes a superb player. Shevchenko's goal was really good. Didnt look at the goal just let rip, so good.
That Guy Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Spurs 1-2 Chelsea. Gutted again, and our front players just didn't perform tonight, which is a shame, seeing as we've been quality in recent weeks. A fan at the end came on and lamped one of the Chelsea players though! Think it was Lampard, hope it was anyway!
Daft Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Sheva's goal was sublime!!! It was just like he was back at Milan!
Platty Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I watched United. Wasnt a great performance but they deserved it. Ronaldo is amazing. I can't believe spurs.
Babooo Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Shevchenko's goal was pure class....I'm getting scared. Ronaldo's on fire as well......player of the season for me. Then its Drgoba.
Kav Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I think both Chelsea's goals were amazing, Shevchenko showed his individual brilliance (finally) and Drogba showed class in setting up Wright-Phillips, who finished very well! I'd go for Drogba above Ronaldo for player of the season but only just! I think I would because it's not only his attacking prowess this season that's been great, but he's been magnificent defensively also, tracking back and defending at set-pieces! His all-round game is just superb!
khilafah Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I went too watch Marseille vs Nice on saturday and it was excellent! the atmosphere in the veldadrome is amazing! Marseille won 3-0 so it was a great trip and well worth it.
Roostophe Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 A fan at the end came on and lamped one of the Chelsea players though! Think it was Lampard, hope it was anyway! Pillock's been given a lifetime ban from the stadium. He must deeply regret it now, especially because he missed.
BlueStar Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Notice Kalou and Drogba getting sly kicks in when he was on the ground?
gmac Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 lol Fifa have extended Navarro's ban to all domestic competitions as well and he is now unable to play anywhere until October click here
Noodleman Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Sky seem to think we are lining up: Robinson P.Neville Rio Terry Carragher Stevie G Hargreaves Fat Frank Lennon Rooney Johnson Urgh so much wrong with that line up if its correct. 3-1 Israel
Guest Stefkov Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Last time I heard Ukraine were beating the Faroe Islands 2-0. Cant believe the odds for Ukraine. 1-12 for them winning. Wheres the logic in that?!!? Put down £1200 and get £100 back. wtf.
Noodleman Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 £100 interest on £1,200 is pretty good tbh. Given that Ukraine wining is as close to a sure thing as you get in football its basicaly free money hence the odds being so low.
Ramar Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Well what a crap game I experienced today at Wembley. I sacrificed sleep (of which I've had 2 hours of in the last 25 hours), to be at the first game at the stadium and it was a shocker. Firstly, the top tear is so blooming high, I felt miles away from the pitch. Which is odd because at The Emirates Stadium I mainly sit upper tier and don't feel the same when I'm there. Secondly, I've seen more atmosphere at a funeral. I know it was a friendly, but it was full of people who just wanted to be there for the occassion and not because they were fans of football let alone the national side. You know its gone down the piss pan, when a mexican wave starts after only 6 minutes. Mexican waves should not be allowed in football stadiums.
gaggle64 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 So anyway, the commentators don't seem to have anything nice to say about England.
Zechs Merquise Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 So anyway, the commentators don't seem to have anything nice to say about England. Well the fact they aren't winning yet is terrible, you look at the talent on the pitch and the fact they just can't perform. McLaren was an awful choice for manager.
gaggle64 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 After brokering such an awful deal to keep Sven (£13k a week?!) I reckon they only got him because he was cheap.
Noodleman Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 If Sven was in charge we would be wining seriously.
Daft Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Why do I even watch England games...it is so depressing...
Goron_3 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Grrr Lampard is playing poor as usual. He should be dropped so gerrard can play in the middle with hargreaves. That way, lennon can go on the right with Downing on the left.
Noodleman Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 you mean Barry on the left right? anyway this gem is on the Guardian comentary: 1914: We are hearing that Norway's Group C game against Bosnia has been called off after seven minutes. No idea why but as soon as we know you'll know. The referee there is Mike Riley but that's all I'm saying for now.
Goron_3 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 We have the worst manager in the bloody world. Why he kept Rooney and Lampard is completely beyond me.
