Nintendinosaur Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 http://www.gamesradar.com/gb/revo/game/news/article.jsp?articleId=2006060211153078021§ionId=1006 I always trust games radar aswell. Its the NGC people. I was gonna put this in the US release discussion, but its UK release so nerrrr.
conzer16 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 so thats.....*quick hop to xe.com*.....€218.59 that would mean €219.99 in Ireland/€urozone Dammit!! I was getting used to the ides of a sub 200 pric tag! €199 sounds SO much cheaper than €220...
david.dakota Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Its still a bit more expensive than i'd have wished.
*Dalco* Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 hopefully that will be the launch date as its only 5 months which isn't that far.
ShadowV7 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Hope it's true, means the launch date will be near the US and Jap.Hope for more news soon.
DCK Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Hmmm, that's very reasonable. Even if this turns out fake, I doubt launch will look very different. Pricing it 20 euros is a good way to make it look valuable and not ask a high price. It's a good price. Hope we get a game with that.
dabookerman Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I expected £150, goes to my target of saving up £400 for the wii
Tellyn Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I'm hoping the main package contains Zelda, a few VC games and an extra controller in a deluxe Triforce pack.
dabookerman Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I'm hoping the main package contains Zelda, a few VC games and an extra controller in a deluxe Triforce pack. You hope for the most unlikeliest things.
raven_blade2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Just get it out over here in Europe before the PS3. When people see what Wii can really do in shops before the £425 monster comes out, they may be a bit tighter with their money. Also there is a bit of anti-Sony hype going around at the moment. Its better to not give them a chance to spread more propaganda before Wii arrives.
dabookerman Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Just to reassure you guys, both the wii and ps3 will sell out once it hits the stores here, 2million worldwide shipment for the ps3 isnt really a lot. i wouldnt worry if it comes out before or after.
Tellyn Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 You hope for the most unlikeliest things. But that would be so cool! Wii with a Triforce on the side, a golden console! Mmm... With Zelda! Mmm... With retro Zelda games on download! Mmm... But they'll probably release that when everyone has a console like the GC one. "Three years after the GC is released and most Zelda fans have one, we'll release this! A GC packaged with a free game AND Zelda Collector's Edition! The Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and a Wind Waker demo packaged on one disk! Not for resale to die hard Zelda fans, just newbies!" I looked high and low for that bloody disk, eventually finding it in GAMEs preowned bin.
gaggle64 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Ah excellent, in time for Xmas and with a very reasonable price tag. That will certainly go a long way to winning over gift-fever induced parents. I just hope they have enough units to satisfy demand.
ShadowV7 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I was expecting £150 any, people who hope for something cheap will moan for a few weeks going 'I'm not getting,I want it cheaper'
Smiter Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 £150 sounds bang on target, a release date of around 6th November would be good. Five months to go... Lots of time to save up. The NGC people seem pretty solid, they were the ones who broke the news about Nintendo including Wii controls in Twilight Princess.
Zell Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I respect the people at NGC, even thought the magazine has gone downhill. £150 seems the right amount, and the release date is perfect for me (who has his birthday in november). Can't. Wait. Any. Longer.
Fierce_LiNk Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I agree with DCK. Even if this information is not exact, it's mostly what we can expect. Now, we just gotta wait for the Big N to give us final word.
Charlie Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I looked high and low for that bloody disk, eventually finding it in GAMEs preowned bin. You know it came with Mario Kart Double Dash and The Wind Waker?
Goron_3 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Sweet, can't wait! Hopefully will be getting one at launch night
Guest Stefkov Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 definitely getting one at launch, whether i have the money or not. and a few games, might only have about £100 by the time it comes, but i dont need to worry, ive been real good paying my mum off with loads of stuff, so im sure shell let me do another. November 6th: Fuckin' A £150: Fuckin' A seriously those who moan about £150, what the fuck!?! it kind of is pretty great technology. knowing where the controller is in 3D space. otherwise go pay for another one with a downgraded (by quite a lot) controller scheme and 'better' graphics, where most of the games will technically be on the same pathway for £425. whereas Wii games will be new and intuitive, sure not good graphics, but has this technology been used on anything else? it probably has but usign it for fun its mighty damn cool
Tellyn Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 You know it came with Mario Kart Double Dash and The Wind Waker? I already had those games. :p
