With the Wii always ready to accept discs, does this mean that the slot has no protetion to dust, or anything else that could find its way into the slot? I'm not sure about the Wii, but my Mac Mini which has a slot loading drive has something protecting it, but when you push the CD/DVD into it it just brushes the thing downwards. Posted November 23, 2006 My iBook is 2.5 years old.. they don't get dusty.. i imagine the disc drive spinning plus the fans creates a fairly decent atmosphere. Posted November 23, 2006 Cool, well that's my last concern about the Wii put to rest. roll on Dec 8th. Oh, apparently my mate saw a wii in the Machester Virgin Meagstore, but it wasn't playable. Posted November 24, 2006 It does that on the 360. When i view videos off my HDD, it puts them all into one big list. Despite that they're all in separate folders on the HDD.
