Posted April 17, 2010 I tried to get a picture of my Dad golfing with the strobe light. Didn't work as well as I thought it would. This is the best of about 20 attempts. Even after that, it needed tidying up with levels/burn/dodge. S'awesome. Reminds me of some artist I was looking at back in A level days (ie, last year). Kewl. One day I'll take some photos not just of friends..
Posted April 18, 2010 Few photos from Happenstance and Goafer's wild day out (to the fields next to my village....) We also got brutally attacked by an extremely clever cow, but I will let Goafer tell that story as he has the photos
Posted April 19, 2010 Eyjafjallajokull - The volcano causing all the trouble. Totally worth it. I hope the end of the world looks this good.

Posted April 20, 2010 Eyjafjallajokull - The volcano causing all the trouble. Totally worth it. Holy That's one of the most amazing images I've ever seen... not often you get to see something like that! So otherworldly! Mordor would be proud!!
Posted April 20, 2010 Seeing that the airports are now open on the news made me realised we all missed an opportunity. There's something so weirdly haunting about an empty airport and lord knows when we'll next see one.

But i have to agree with the guy who said you can frame it perfectly but when you print or get it printed you dont know how much they are gonna cut off. Posted April 27, 2010 Not sure if it belongs in here but give it a shot I am stunned by this photo. I don't think there has been anything taken like this, Earth, photographed from another planet. It's weird knowing Mars, a planet I've never seen with my naked eye, can see earth.
Posted April 29, 2010 (edited) Here are some attempts at some good photographs...(which are probably nothing compared to most on here) Edited April 29, 2010 by lostprophetpunk

Posted May 2, 2010 Right. I am nearly finished with this freakin' first dance faked photograph. Someone wanna give some tips and pointers? I know its not perfect, nor am I really planning to get it perfect (I'm doing it out of good will after all). Its here and just looking at that; the face still looks kind of off but I can't seem to get it any sharper without looking fucked up, sideburns are ginger, opinions on background? Obviously a bit blurred to try and make them the focus (plus they weren't on the dancefloor anyway) but too much? Feel free to make more suggestions. I did print it earlier on 9x6 and it look ok (and a bit darker which may be helping :p) so I may see what he wants to do with it. I think he just wants it for a photo album anyway. This is what I originally had to work with. Pff, if he wanted a better first dance photograph he wouldn't have gotten so drunk! :p
