That Guy Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Worms is out! Quite surprised that it's only 42.29mbs though.
theguyfromspark Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Worms is out! Quite surprised that it's only 42.29mbs though. So what's the verdict? I'm at work till 5:30 but I'll be straight on it tonight!
That Guy Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 It's in the middle of downloading and then I've got the hairdressers, but will play when I get back.
Tailzo Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Ahhh. XBLA is so great recently. Alien Himinid, Worms out this month already, and Castlevania, Catan, Castle Crashers and Sonic in the future.
Sanchez Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 It's good, i've never really owned a worms game but it's good from what i've tried. Multiplayer looks like it will be great fun as well. People who are worms experts say its great, pretty well balanced and all that shiz.
ReZourceman Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Is it like original Worms or is it in the style of Worms 2 etc?
ZeldaFreak Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 In a recent develop magazine theres an advert for Team 17 recruiting staff for 360/ps3/wii/psp/ds staff. Now could this mean we finally get the game Worms: Weapons of mass destruction. Thoughts.
Hero-of-Time Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Just came in for break from work, on downloading worms now but wont be able to play til 4 EDIT:GRAW 2 getting packed!
Owen Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Whens that 'Boom Bang Bang' or something...game out? It's the kinda sequel to that PGR3 arcade machine game which is really colourful... I'm useless with names.
Sanchez Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Goddammit, i'm getting it in store on saturday as a I have a load of games with good trade in value.
Tailzo Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Is it like original Worms or is it in the style of Worms 2 etc? People say it's more like the recent worms, minus the weapons that made the game rely less on skill. (No hyper-destructive weapons.) It also seems to be based off the psp version. I'll know for sure when I get home in about one and a half hour.
Caris Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 We should really organise Wroms for tonight, I say 7. ?
ReZourceman Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Can you buy points from Live, with a Debit Card?
That Guy Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Well it's basically what I expected, which is a fecking awesome Worms game. Basically if you don't like Worms then you wont like this. I think it could maybe do with few few different environments in a download pack or something, and I would have liked the baseball bat, but apart from that it's great. The only thing is I'm out of practice, since I haven't played Worms since I had Armeggedon years ago, so I'm over hitting my shots or under hitting them, and missing slightly. Hopefully I'll be better after a few hours play.
theguyfromspark Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Can you buy points from Live, with a Debit Card? Visa, American Express or Mastercard. Which sucks to be honest. You can of course buy MS Points cards from shops/online stores using whatever payment method the shops allow. Well it's basically what I expected, which is a fecking awesome Worms game. Mr. Bananagrabber Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Worms is only 4 players. That is heavy, Doc.

I've heard some reports that the controller doesn't work as well as the traditional keyboard/mouse scheme. Is it ok to control? Its perfect imo. Triggers and the right stick control the camera, left stick moves your Worm and moves your aim, and you simply hold A to fire. I prefer controller to keyboard tbh.
ReZourceman Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 No Worms for me tonight (At least) in that case.
Guest Jordan Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 That HD South Park ep is now out in the UK, download away, its free.
ZeldaFreak Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 I am suprised all the annoyance with microsoft getting south park in the uk. Surely seen as its on paramount - they just had to ask them and comedy central to say yes. I still say I doubt us europeans will get either iptv or video/movie marketplace. We'll get the odd episode here and there but not the ability to download every episode in a season.
