That is a really good deal. I remember buying Halo 1, Halo 2 and the mulitplayer Disc for £20. Seen as though we're both noobs at the game it'd be fun to play sometime.

 

Yeah sure. I've not even played a bit of Halo yet so, I'll be mega n00b but I'm well up for a game of any of the games I've got.

I would just like to say...I FINALY HAVE A Xbox 360!!! WOOOHOOO! But now I have loads of work to do so Ill be playing it a lot more later!!!

I went on and firstly the patch on the dashboard..whats that for anyway?

I wasnt expecting a Gears update, do you think this is for those glitches?

It wont be the new maps, it was really quick.

 

 

Why don't we ever get anything in the big box on the right when you go in the marketplace? I see pics of Americans setups and they have adverts for games etc.

Its loads of stuff, mainly grenade tagging, voice glitch, removed camers from ranked matches, no host names (so people dnt join their friends or join the hosts side), better cheating software, fixed glitches, bugs etc...

aww so ranked matches with friends is now non do-able.

What the GoW patch does.

 

* Fixed aspect ratio distortion when using VGA cable with 4:3 displays at resolutions higher than 640x480

* Fixed voice issue with new players joining Player Match games in progress

* Players can now get the Achievement for "Dish Best Served Cold" when using Troika turret to kill RAAM

* Fixed rare situation where host could loop countdown and never start match

* Fixed rare situation where players could get stuck after chainsawing in multiplayer

* Reduced Grenade Tag melee distance

* Enabled "Strict" NAT check on host to prevent possible connection issues

* Optimized server browser queries to return results more quickly and prevent scroll bars from hiding quality of service icons

* Reduced number of possible revives in Execution to match Warzone

* Removed host name from Ranked match server browser

* Disabled security cameras in Ranked matches

* Ranked matches now require balanced teams (3v3 or 4v4)

* Increased penalty for quitting a Ranked match to -50 points

* Added additional cheat detection code

* Additional housekeeping updates

I saw that gun when me and my bro were playing and my bro tried to get to it and died cos of the Kryll bid things. I didnt know that you didnt get teh achievement

Yes! I do hate it when poeple just run up to you and stick it in you when they're like a metre away.

Controlling the camera along with the warthog is a great idea.

1, it allows you to drift at high speed

2, it makes sure the camera is always directly where you need it

3, gives great over all sense of speed.

As much as I hate to agree with Jordan, he's right on this one. I don't see why the controls are terrible.

 

Besides, it's not like you're using it for precision racing (unless you're dicking around on Zanzibar). You use it for a quick getaway and/or part of a co-ordinated assault.

There is a point to that control scheme though. There's so many buttons for Halo that there isn't any room for one to be the accelerator of the warthog, so using up and angles on the stick to turn was the best option. Rather have the button, but like I say, there wasn't any space to map it out.

It'll probably end up as DLC, otherwise it is pretty pointless.

Didn't reckon too much on the multiplayer from the demo anyway, seemed a bit clunky.

My copy was posted today anyway.
