Oh, crap, this launch is going to cost me even more...Still at least the games are £10 cheaper than on xbox360 or ps3, and the system is wayyyyyyyyy cheaper.

If this is true I better start saving for both the Rev and it's games. I think £350 would be an okay amount to start up my Rev gaming. I really need to pay off some holidays first though

- Thanks to Stabby for letting us know about the many Ubisoft titles

- George Harrison is the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communication at Nintendo of America.

- In the interview when asked about Revolution launch confirmed "around 20" titles for launch and estimated that "maybe a third" will be titles from Nintendo.

Copy and Paste, add the rest in, edit etc..

Don't forget the Virtual Console which will house A grade titles from the NES, SNES, N64 (minus those developped from RareWare) and backwards compatibility from GameCube games.

Yeah I realised that but I didn't want to make it look as though i was stating a launch game. I think it would be a cool launch game. I wouldn't be surprised to see a FIFA game launch with it too

wow 20 titles at launch! gotta start saving up! if the games are £40, theyll be £30 at gameplay wont they?

so thats:

£40 x 20 = £800

or £30 x 20 = £600

hmm i wont be buying all at launch. maybe a few.

20 games, hmmmmm

Six will be first party or second party games, with one being pushed back to shortly after launch day.

Four will be rushed third party games, basic on a single gameplay element that although may work, ends up with a short lived game.

Five will be ports. One will be pushed back.

Five will be decent third party games, like the much anticipated Red Steel. Two will be pushed back.

Well thats my guess.

I keep seeing Kid Icarus being listed.. Has that been confirmed anywhere?

IGN don't but a source would be appreciated.

I think Reggie was talking about Kid Icarus (his favourite game)

I'll add a sidenote as speculation until otherwise.

Wikipedia says without a source:

"legendary gaming creator Shigeru Miyamoto hinted that a Kid Icarus sequel may be released for the Nintendo Revolution, nearly 20 years after the original Kid Icarus was released on the NES. A few weeks later, a Kid Icarus game appeared on IGN's Revolution games TBA list. He is also one of the widely debated characters that may be included in Super Smash Bros. Revolution."

edit for Reggie: "Reggie Fils-Aime, has repeatedly said that if we wanted it, it would come."

Task for people: try and narrow down the 14 Nintendo titles we 'know' down to the 6 ot 7 most likely to be at launch.

I'm guessing Pennant Chase baseball will because that popped off the radar about a year ago for the GameCube- if it's been held back for Revolution sports series then they've had plenty of time and it would make a launch likely.

Any other thoughts?

I think I'm going to be out of pocket this November, but at least my brithday is in November, so I can take advantage of that.

I can see the Revolution being my biggest spending spree for a console so far.

I'm going to have to have at least 2 controllers at launch to take advantage of multi-player, and I'm going to have to get a decent amount of games, say 3 or 4, and I'll need an SD card, though I may just use the one from my digital camera, or if possible, use my external hdd. But, at least after all the spending, I'll still have money spare. The kind of money I wont have if I buy a PS3. I bet a Revolution + extra controller + SD card + 3 or 4 games is less than the price of the PS3 alone. I would laugh if this was true.

So far, I reckon I'll get:

Super Smash Bros.

Mario revolution

Red Steel

and I've not decided on the last game.

I'm hoping that highstreet stores will offer us plenty of money-saving packs to choose from. GAME usually do this, as do HMV.

20 games, wow. As for Nintendo - there'll be Super Smash Brothers, Kirby, Animal Crossing and the new IP would be good guesses for launch. I have a feeling they might have a longer development for Metroid Prime 3 might get more development time (they're right in doing so).

Man, November is going to be hurting my bank account. Rev, 3 games and accessories, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass and Children of Mana
