So hey, all you regulars. Have any of you noticed that "Clubs" has appeared on the top of the N-Europe site recently? Well, Ashley and I have been fiddling around with it, and it seems to be a decent way of having a way for the site itself to remind you of when we play Mario Kart. Yeah, as a notification, like when someone quotes you. So I've made a club for our usual Thursday sessions. You forgetful types out there can join the club, click the event "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe", and set yo

So what I learned about coin runners is that there is a finite number of coins that will appear. After that the only way to get them is to steal off others.

A computer passed through an item box right after the lightning hit, and got really lucky.

Better then getting two lightnings far apart, mind. Less devastating.

Yeah, but I thought the rule was you couldn’t get another one for 30 seconds, did the first cpu player hold onto it that long?

No, you misremember. You can't get Lightning (Or a Bullet Bill) in the first 30 seconds of a race. After that, there's no limit.

EDIT: Got gazumped more times then I'd like this week.

Some great races, shame about the disconnect as that was shaping up to be a very close finish. Anyway...

So as I say in the Tweet, I get the YAY as if I hit someone but can't believe that it was that throw. @Glen-i did say he got hit over VC but thought it was from in front that he ran over it. So I had to go into MKTV, set it to me, hits and 60 seconds. And low and behold this beauty...

OK, yeah, that might be the greatest Banana throw ever!

The best thing is, it landed right behind a coin, so I literally couldn't see it until it was too late.

Just a heads-up... I highlight the entire stream, and then delete the original, usually within minutes of finishing the stream, but the video which is up there now should be there to stay. :peace:

No worries, I mainly do that because Twitch deletes standard streams after two weeks, but if you highlight a whole stream, instead of just part of it, you can preserve the entire stream... indefinitely, it would seem.

So all of the finish-line gazumps, suddenly bananas, well-placed (or randomly thrown) bob-ombs and stealth item steals should be there for your viewing entertainment for a very long time. :D
