WackerJr Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll is brutally hard in later levels! I don’t remember it being that tough, even with the rewind feature. Although saying that, I don’t remember getting that far in the first place so I doubt I ever saw those levels before… 1

Although saying that, I don’t remember getting that far in the first place so I doubt I ever saw those levels before… I had a quick go of it and had no idea what I was supposed to do. I was looking at the box art for the game and noticed the name of the enemies. Was Ben Elton a fan of this game? 3
Cube Posted July 4 Posted July 4 This isn't the first time that NES Golf was on the Switch. In an old version of the firmware, the game was hidden. It wasn't until much later that anyone discovered that it existed, and it took longer to find out how (or if) it could be triggered if the clock was set to the 11th July, the day Iwata passed away, and perform the gesture he used in videos using the Joycons. The hidden version (since removed from the firmware) also supported motion controls. It was down as both a tribute to Iwata and as a good luck gesture (something to do with a Japanese superstition). 3
Julius Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) As announced at the start of today's Partner Showcase, the NES version of Tetris is heading to Switch Online in Winter 2024! Edited August 27 by Julius 1
Dcubed Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) Insane that such an iconic version of Tetris has never been re-released until now. Probably second only to the Gameboy version in terms of how impactful it was in terms of historic significance, and the foundation for the Classic Tetris World Championships; it’s crazy to think that this is the first time it has ever been re-released officially. No VC releases, no NES Classics release, nothing until now. Hopefully this means that we’ll also get Tetris & Dr Mario SNES, as well as Tetris DS when we inevitably get DS NSO on Switch 2 when that comes out. Edited August 27 by Dcubed 1
