RedShell Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Yep, it's fucked. On the plus side, unlimited reggae and 8-bit squid mini-game!
Hero-of-Time Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Back online but it's now stuck on the searching for a battle screen.
Kounan Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I didn't even go offline, I am just trying to connect to a battle....
BowserBasher Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Same here. Such a missed opportunity Nintendo. There are a bunch of us here trying to play and you won't let us play with friends.....yet.
Wii Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Still nothing. Got back to the searching for players screen but just timed out. Half the time is almost up. C'mon Nintendo. You had 1 hour to have your act together and this is what you produce?
Hero-of-Time Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I wonder if anyone is actually on the game? Nobody on here can get on and the same goes for Gaf. Yeah, but of a mess this one. Strange how the first 3 were fine yet this one has been a cock up.
Serebii Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Heard reports that a DDoS is happening. No idea on authenticity of this report though.
Wii Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Stage 8; what do the blue jelly fish do? They corrupt Nintendo's online servers.
Phube Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Heard reports that a DDoS is happening. No idea on authenticity of this report though. Ddos? They corrupt Nintendo's online servers. Shit, my bad!
Wii Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 (edited) I think this demo session is a write off. There's only 25 minutes left. People could only have been able to get 1 game in before it all came crashing down. Nintendo are going to get bad publicity over this. Intermittent? It's completely flatlined. Edited May 23, 2015 by Wii
Hero-of-Time Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Ddos? Large packets of information get sent to the servers and bring them down. Some idiots done it to the Sony and Microsoft servers over Christmas. I've heard nothing about such an attack on the Nintendo servers though.
BowserBasher Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 At least we can play the tutorial a few times when we get kicked back to the wepon select screen.
dazzybee Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Who else is glad they didn't go out this Saturday night? I'm working away, so missed it. A bit of a disaster for Nintendo. But s but of me is quite pleased as surely they'll do another tomorrow night now Not exactly what Nintendo needed a few days before release though!
Wii Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 At least we can play the tutorial a few times when we get kicked back to the wepon select screen. I can't even get to the tutorial now.
D_prOdigy Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I did find it a bit odd that there were pretty much zero reminders about it on any of Nintendo's social media channels in the immediate hours before it was due. Maybe there were evident problems beforehand.
Wii Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Time's up now. That was fun. Can't wait to do it again. Told you all to not bother and watch Eurovision :p It was you wasn't it that crashed the system? It's alright for you. You have the game and can go online whenever you feel like it.
Hero-of-Time Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Apparently it's working now. Guess they are extending it and quite rightly so.
Mr-Paul Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Time's up now. That was fun. Can't wait to do it again. It was you wasn't it that crashed the system? It's alright for you. You have the game and can go online whenever you feel like it. Although it's hard to get a game because so few people have it! So pretty much the same as this :p
martinist Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Well, played one game then the servers went into meltdown. Ended up watching the rest of Eurovision.
