The (not yet announced) DK, Rosalina and Wario amiibo from the Super Mario Series line are spotted in new Mario Party 10 screens, here: http://m.ign.com/articles/2015/02/13/mario-party-10-site-reveals-new-wario-rosalina-and-donkey-kong-amiibo

I'm still not sold on the Super Mario series, they look a little bland to me.

I find the smash line a lot more imaginative :awesome:

mario/luigi/peach etc. Could have had their own little treasure hunts.

But 1ups is far easier and cheaper to implement.

Really? I don't think anything could be easier/cheaper than replacing the "Pixel Toad" with pixel versions of all other amiibo. :blank:

But Nintendo probably think keeping that feature exclusive to the Toad amiibo will help it sell...

It won't though. Not to me anyway. :heh:

scan amiibo = lives +1

Having to find a different pixel art character could be done I suppose, but it would be better to have those characters appear in a different place.. afaik the toad pixel art will always remain in the same place in a level. If it moves each time, then sure I agree they should have allowed pixel art to include all mario series amiibo.

amiibo sales broken down per region.

33l.jpg

US & Canada = 63%

Europe = 23%

Japan = 11%

Australia = 3%

Which reaffirms my previously stated view that Japan aren't as interested in amiibo.

Nintendo are to bundle NES/SNES/Wii U games with amiibo. They will only be demos and will only be available to play for a certain limited period of time.

Link is the most popular amiibo worldwide everywhere except Australia. Mario is the number 1 there.

amiibo with the highest sell-through rate:

US = Marth

JPN = Captain Falcon

EUR = Little Mac

Australia = Ike

There's a pile of info coming through regarding amiibo. Iwata has said he didn't expect the scalper situation. This is all coming from the rescheduled investor meeting.

The top 10 best selling amiibo per region.

Interesting facts, thanks for that @Wii !

I guess a start for a solution for the scalper situation might be: manufacture the same total for every amiibo for the first two months.

That way it takes longer for scalpers to figure out which amiibo will be more sought after.

It's really frustrating...
