Iun
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-23920336 Perhaps best known in recent years because of the film Frost/Nixon, Sir David was a fixture of my childhood through Breakfast with Frost. He died aboard the cruise ship Queen Elizabeth of a heart attack at the age of 74.

Retro_Link
I think I thought he was older than he in fact was. Sad news. Someone you don't really envisage passing away.
Jimbob
Wow, bit shocked to hear of this. A good broadcaster, one will be sorely missed. R.I.P
Mr-Paul
Rest in Peace. I remember always waking up as a child to watch Match of the Day on a Sunday morning, which was then followed by Breakfast with Frost. A brilliant journalist; I always thought he was older too, 74 is still relatively young. He will be missed, but always remembered.

Rummy
I don't know masses about his career except seeing him here and there(obviously my time was later on in his career), but he seemed to have a sense of humour and I understand he did wonders in the world of journalism. Something about him seemed so quintessentially British, real credit to the country.
gaggle64
I too remember him fondly from breakfast With Frost and I have enormous respect for him continuing to ask hard questions until the very end with the excellent Al Jazeera English service. He contribution to journalism will never be in doubt.
