Nolan
Jim Sterling gave it an 8.5 as well. So it seems like it's generally positive. I haven't seen any media for it personally, it seems like it might be good, but hell I haven't even finished Alan Wake yet so I'll give this a pass for now. Plus between 72-80 hour work weeks and Dark Souls 3, no time for an Xbone game.
Kaepora_Gaebora
The concept of this looks really, really cool I think, and I'm always interested in new ways of playing and innovation. My main issue is that this looks like a cool idea wrapped around a generic shooter; all the videos I've seen suggest the actual game play is nothing special. One to pick up when it's cheaper for me

Still, I might pick it up in some distant Steam sale down the line, just to see what could be some day...

One to pick up when it's cheaper for me I skimmed the Jim Sterling review and this is what he echoes. It is a stock standard mundane shooter, but in his opinion Remedy made it fun and interesting with the time manipulation mechanics. He also says that it strikes a good balance of after a battle there is a cool down period, provides a nice juxtaposition from the action.
Dog-amoto
Did anyone buy/play this. I really enjoyed it until the last boss which I've still not managed to beat. Ridiculous difficulty spike combined with a very poorly explained mechanic leads up to a lot of cheap deaths. And instadeaths I might add. Really hacked off with it. Doesn't help that it's so poorly designed that you don't restart at the beginning of the fight, but before a cutscene which although it is skippable, you've still got to sit through two loading screens before you have another try Think I'm done with this. Have had about 20 tries. Even checked videos for tips but they're not helpful.
Sméagol
I'm interested in this, but the internet requirement makes this unplayable for me until I upgrade the internet here.. And even then I'm not sure if I like it. What happens if after several years, they shut down the servers for this? No cutscenes? Unplayable game? I can understand this for multiplayer portions of games, but this is the game. There should be an option to download them, and preferrably, they simply should have a blu-ray version of the game with all cutscenes included on disc. Sméagol
That's pretty shit. Like I said, I'm interested in the game, but I might not buy it out of principle.. I want the option to have a backup of the videofiles. If not on disc, then they should make them available for download. I guess they can patch it later. Nolan
Well, the PC version of the game is pretty much a shit port from what I've heard. And I checked out the download for the video files, 75 fucking GB.
