The Severance Podcast with Ben Stiller & Adam Scott

It's really good. I'm up to Episode 5 now.
Lots of insights to the shooting process. I also enjoy hearing actors/actresses talking about their journey with the show.

I'm excited for the second season to start on Friday.

My friend and I have reached episode 7 a few days ago (i.e. the episode where it reeeaaaallyyy gets going). I cannot wait to see her reaction to everything that will unfold from now on.

The Lexington Letter

Read it last night (it's a super quick read) and ohhhh my. There is some juicy information in there :D
It raises more questions than it answers, but it's fleshing out the world a little bit at least.

This is my thread now! This is a Severance thread now.

Part of me wishes that all episodes of S2 are available now, part of me is fine with each releasing every Friday. The discourse on the internet is pretty cool to follow :D So many theories are being thrown out, it's exciting to see which will prove to be true.
I have my own (which I assume are the most popular/obvious ones), of course.

Tonight I'll watch S2 E2 and I couldn't be more excited. This show could surpass Breaking Bad for me. But I also thought Westworld could do that and we all know that turned out to be a steaming pile of garbage.

I'm also very much looking forward to the Severance podcast. Hearing Ben Stiller, Adam Scott and guests talk about each episode and how it was done/certain scenes came to be is super intriguing. Today's episode will feature the writer/creator of the show (Dan Erickson). :peace:

Honestly years of being spoiled with whole season releases for binging has left me pretty satisfied with Apple doing weekly episodes. It’s something to look forward to and adds a small touch of structure to week, as opposed to rotting a whole day/afternoon/evening/weekend away watching an entire series. Plus, unlike the old days there’s no FOMO on weekly episodes. I fell out of watching Lost on TV because it’s timeslot moved to share with something my mom watched so that was the end of Lost for me to be able to watch. Streaming removes that, at worst catching up is delayed.

Anywho, Severance has already well surpassed Breaking Bad for me. I was never that enamored with that show though. Never even finished the final season actually. There’s episodes of Futurama I’d put higher.

Severance is better than a show you didn't think was that great and didn't even finish?

High praise indeed.
