Yvonne
here's a not-amazing not-terrible thing I made today. Trying to get this medium working for more detailed background work, but its a challenge to do quickly, particularly clouds, it would seem. Finally found a use for my masking fluid though! May revisit this one later...
Magnus
I didn't make much headway on Melia today, so I did this little drawing inspired by ReZ's latest contribution instead:
Hamishmash
Well today I drew 3 new pages for my web comic Qinc. They can be viewed in the N-Europe thread... Frank
This will be motivation, I hope, for me. I plan to contribute some small drawings for this thread! Where do we get the theme's for each day?
Yvonne
@Frank - There is no theme! But that might be a good idea for inspiration and stuff... Marc, what do you say to announcing the next day's (suggested) theme each day? Hamish your comic looks wicked. Subscribed!
Marcamillian
Can do! Me and someone else I know who's doing this are alternating setting themes for the day so I can throw up whatever gets decided on to the thread if people want something to go on. Today's is a strange one... "connections".
Eenuh
Heh, RedBubble mentioned me taking on this challenge in their weekly newswrap. Fun times.
Sprout
I wasn't sure which thread to post this one in, but since it's my drawing for the day... Ine's Birthday! Yay! I hope you have a great day and yummy cake, too. Inspired by Ine's Cupcake! Edited February 6, 2012 by Sprout
Hamishmash
Seeing as Magnus' little models count, can this epic animated dinosaur film count as my drawing for today. (Currently learning 3D Animation software very slowly.)

Eenuh
Didn't really feel like thinking of anything to draw today. Just grabbed some scrapped paper that I was about to throw away (and still will) and started drawing. The first one had some colour on it from where I tested my paints. Just started drawing in that corner, and somehow I ended up turning this into some kind of Venus portrayal (like the Venus from Botticelli). Scanner didn't do the colours/lines any justice (made it all look worseee), but meh. Then also doodled this on another piece of scrap paper and gave it some highlights/shading in Photoshop. Don't ask me what's going on cause I don't know.
Yvonne
3 minutes to spare! Gotta stop doing that! here's some bonus stuff Edited February 7, 2012 by Yvonne
Frank
A few minutes over midnight but I'll post nonetheless. I don't have any photoshop / colours / equipment at all so this is done from a blank sheet of paper & charcoal. It's the first thing I've done in ages so I wanted it to be simple. Marcamillian
For anyone in need of inspiration.... my theme for today is "the future". Again... doesn't need to be followed, just a suggestion if you're stuck for something to draw.
Yvonne
@Eenuh - that drawing reminds me of the ending of Don Herzfeld's "rejected". Have you seen it?
Eenuh
@Eenuh - that drawing reminds me of the ending of Don Herzfeld's "rejected". Have you seen it? I had to look it up again as it sounded familiar, and I did indeed see it about 7-8 years ago or something when I was on my animation course (god now I feel old!). I remember we couldn't stop laughing at certain parts haha.
Magnus
I could have sworn I posted in this thread before going to bed last night? I made a "that's what she said" joke and everything!
