Jonnas Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Huh, a redesign I actually like. Apparently, she brings an entire new class to the game, which explains the dress and the staff. I'm not complaining. Eirika looks fantastic. (But I'm thinking, they could've used Guinevere for that)
Captain Falcon Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Whilst the face is clearly Erika, the neck down is such a massive departure that I'm glad you clarified it for me @Jonnas. And additional classes are always welcome providing they do something new but to go from fighter to a priestess like class seems a bit silly. Guinevere would have been a good choice just as I think Elice (Marth's sister) would have been.
Dante Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Jasons Chreier = "Fire Emblem 3DS is coming to America, Reggie just told me." Okay Nintendo trying to kill E3 or something else because it wasnt mention at 3DS Showcase.
Serebii Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Jasons Chreier = "Fire Emblem 3DS is coming to America, Reggie just told me." Okay Nintendo trying to kill E3 or something else because it wasnt mention at 3DS Showcase. Indeed. This is one of many announcements that weren't in their briefings...
Dcubed Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Jesus fucking Christ WHY THE HELL WAS THIS NOT IN THE FUCKING CONFERENCE!? And for extra goodness, courtesy of GAF Treehouse is doing the English translation. YYYYYEEESSSS!!!!! Nobody does localisations like Treehouse (sorry NOE, your English localisation work is getting better but you still don't hold a candle to Treehouse) I would've been ok if 8-4 was handling it (Like Shadow Dragon), but this is just the icing on the already delicious cake! Good God, this whole E3 event has been a complete mess
Ike Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Has Treehouse done other Fire Emblem games before? Nice for the game to be confirmed for America though.
Dcubed Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Has Treehouse done other Fire Emblem games before? Nice for the game to be confirmed for America though. They've done them all except for Shadow Dragon (which was done by 8-4) I was worried that NOE might be handling it themselves, since they're not as good as NOA's localisers (See Advance Wars Days of Ruin US VS Dark Conflict EU)
Ike Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Ah, they did a good job with the previous translations. Just looked up the changed between Dark Conflict and Days of Ruins and I think ours is better. Names were were generally more accurate as far as I can see in this list.
-Dem0- Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 That was hilarious, was all that coffee (I dont know) really in that one cup!? Fantastic!
-Dem0- Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Next DLC. This time it's Celica The Sage from Fire Emblem Gaiden. 21/6/12
Jonnas Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Oh, lord His proportions! His sword looks like part of his arm! And that's the thinnest Ike I've ever seen! Ah, and I see it wasn't posted here yet: Lyn is also DLC And she looks awesome.
-Dem0- Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 wth? The sword looks like it IS an arm. Lady Lyndis is looking pretty cool.
Dcubed Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 WTF happened to Ike?! That was one extreme diet he went on! Lyn on the other hand looks AWESOME!
heroicjanitor Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Ike was supposed to be relatively tanky Also yeah I thought it was his arm til Jonnas said it looked like his arm...
Magnus Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 "We can rebuild him - we have the technology." And then they ran out of gold before they built his right arm.

Ike Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Starting to get the more interesting DLC now. Heard one of the DLC will lower your units HP at the start of a turn o.O. How long did they say they were going to release the new DLC, was it a year?
-Dem0- Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) DLC: Border between Life and Death - has a character prize if you can defeat the boss within 10 turns - character is Est, who previously appeared in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon - artist is Nishimura Kinu, who worked on 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors I do like the artwork for Est. Jonnas Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Minor characters (read: non-lords) starting to come out as DLC as well? Me gusta.

-Dem0- Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 (edited) Zavvi has the release date for this on 25th of Jan 2013. http://www.zavvi.com/games-3ds/fire-emblem-3d/10627777.html Doubt it, I think we'll be seeing this and Luigi's Mansion around about the same time. Probably in Feb/March. Edited September 9, 2012 by -Dem0-
Ike Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I dunno, I can totally see a January release (they have the 25th, not 23rd :P) and Luigi's Mansion in March.
