drahkon
Yeah, this thread is going to die very soon (just like the old one), but fuck that :p Notpron. One of the most popular internet riddles. Maybe the most popular. I've played this several (6?) years ago but I stopped at one level I just couldn't figure out. I've started again. I love how I still remember the approach to many of the levels. Now I'm a bit stuck at level 21. So, anyone here who played this/is interested in this? Dan_Dare
is this one of those things where the only way to get anywhere is to be an autistic rainman style tech priest?
drahkon
Nope it is not. I managed to get pretty far the first time around and I am not "an autistic rainman style tech priest".
EddieColeslaw
Ooooh I remember playing this years ago and got to level 14 or so. Most likely got stuck and gave up.
Magnus
Man, this takes me back. In a bad way.
jayseven
I was more into puzzledonkey, which is now a facebook app that I cannot be assed to link to. Big fan of dingbat things in general, but no good at the slightly techy elements of notpr0n (that I remember). no doubt I'll give this a crack when i've got some time to kill

Dog-amoto
I can't get past Level 3, pmsl! I'm in the room with a torch and a coin, WTF! What you have to do is press the X on your browser window. Just like I did.
Beast
What you have to do is press the X on your browser window. Just like I did. I did that long before you posted, lmao. I'm sorry but it makes no sense at all. I like riddles to be read or seen. On the bar at the top, it told me to look in the dark and I saw absolutely nothing! drahkon
Yeah, if you can't get past level 4 then notpron isn't for you. Thinking outside the box is mandatory.
heroicjanitor
I never played this before but started loling when I realised what I had to do to get to level 3. Unexpected :p Ok reached level 7... Won't continue right now. Level 6 was a bit evil.
Dog-amoto
Yeah, if you can't get past level 4 then notpron isn't for you. Thinking outside the box is mandatory. So just out of curiosity, what did you have to do with that light and coin puzzle?
heroicjanitor
So just out of curiosity, what did you have to do with that light and coin puzzle? Change the "false" in the url to "true".
Beast
Change the "false" in the url to "true". He doesn't mean that one, he means the one after that. Also, I just figured it out... It's on the side of the desk in morse code. I don't know it yet though but I'm guessing that's the Username and Password?... heroicjanitor
Oh sorry, I had the levels confused in my head. You click the coin and it gives you a username/password field. You fill it in with the morse code that is written on the side of the desk.
Beast
I did it! VOODOO for the username and POWER for the password Just to say, this whole username/password thing is pretty effing annoying! This game is nonsensical! I reached level 8 (the guitar one) and I don't get it! I'm not going to bother methinks :p
drahkon
This game is nonsensical! The game is actually very clever... I reached level 8 (the guitar one) and I don't get it! I'm not going to bother methinks :p This is the first level that's really difficult. Here you actually need to have knowledge about something particular BUT normally, if you have experience with computers (and with experience I mean, surfing the Internet or doing stuff with Paint) you should be able to figure it out. Especially because one of the hints is incredibly obvious. So just out of curiosity, what did you have to do with that light and coin puzzle? As the other's have said: The morse code is the key. Look in the dark... LightThisPlaceNow These are the hints. You need to brighten up the picture in order to see the morse code (some people might not need to do that because their screen is bright enough). If there's anyone here who intends to play this game further you probably want to do so with the Internet Explorer. It's the only Browser to play background sounds (for me anyway).
