If it's Burnout, is reasonably priced and turns out to be decent then sign me up! :)

If it's just part of a Burnout game that I've already played then... :blank:

The crash junctions were my favourite part of the old games, if it's an arcade game based on that then I'm interested.

Hopefully if it's a budget arcade title, they'll spare us the 'EA Trax' and give it some proper game music.

The Crash sections were fun though as I recall the competitive element was a score leaderboard. Would like maybe a 2-4 player mashup :)

This is how I feel about Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D

Mercenaries 3D does have one decent thing going for it though...

Portability.

This is an action game in which players earn points for creating traffic pileups. From a top-down perspective, players initiate crashes by driving 'cartoony' vehicles (e.g., cars, trucks, vans, buses) into busy intersections; multiple crashes trigger score multipliers and rack up large 'bills' of property damage. Each level is accompanied by crashing sounds, small explosions, and vocal encouragement (e.g., 'Cool,' 'Maximum Carnage!'). In some levels, players are instructed to crash into police cars (e.g., 'Crash them before they bust you!'); in other sequences, oversized airplanes, tornados, lobster monsters, and UFOs slide across the screen, destroying any vehicles in their path.

Sounds...interesting.

Except for the top-down perspective. That sounds awful (although I suspect not as much as I'm picturing it right now).

TBF if it's cheap, it may be worth a shot. Looks fun - but also just looks like a flash game.

True. 400MS points should do the trick.

While I can see the logic behind this as it seems to play in similar vein to previous crash modes, except most of the effect is lost as it's a simple top-down perspective which kind of makes it more of a joke.

If it was 400 MSP then I could still see it selling but really... they may as well just give it away for free? I really hope Criterion didn't waste much time on this... or even better I hope they had not much to do with it at all. :blank:

This is definitely the definition of milking a success... :nono:

It looks like the video game equivalent sitting on of one of those kids' mats with streets drawn on and throwing your toy cars at each other.

Thank You! : peace:

I knew it reminded me of something but I couldn't think what exactly, but that's definitely it.
