This morning i was rocking the scales at 18'1.25, hopefully I'll be at 17 something at my wi tomorrow :)

I screamed 17 17 17 17 in my head throughout the entire spin class tonight :D

I'm on great form, done about 2.5k calories of exercise this week! :D

Well done! :)

I weighed myself on sunday and i came out at 18.01 so looks like we are about the same! I'm standing at a total loss of 3 stone 3 pounds since 16th January!

There has been plenty of times when i have lost a bit but then put on in a week, i just LOVE food so much and the socialising which comes with it. For example i find it hard to go to a pub or resteraunt and order the healthiest thing there, it just feels wrong! lol.

*high five*

How tall are j00?

I'm now in the 17s, 17 st 12.5 :D wooot. Which means my bmi is just into 35. Half way til i'm outta the obese category. Get :D

I love weightwatchers for the simple fact you can go out and drink, you can eat bad food (in moderation obviously) and you can actually live life. I get daily points & a weekly buffer, all food has a points score, you get the picture.

I've been mulling it over in my head and its my bday soon (early july) and I've decided theres no fucking way on earth I want to be this size. I'm going to get to my target by my next birthday, my 26th. I've got to shift about 5.5 stone! But I'm damn well doing it. Which means losing 1.5lbs every week. Doable with a lot of effort I reckon.

This week (starting monday) I've done 2 x 45 minute spin classes and a personal training session. :) Spin is <3

i keep chanting 2lbs 2lbs to myself when i'm in painnnn at the gym. :p

Going to my doctor tomorrow as well as I've been having a lot of hypo attacks. Did a bit o readin and apparently there have been studies linking severe hypoglycemic attacks in diabetics, with the drug i'm on (etanercept). I've been tested for diabetes and hypothyroid (both clear) but I still get very very sick, and its starting to get way too frequent to just brush it off without some kind of advice. I fear my doctor will tell me to wise up, but then i'm also worried that this is likely to get worse and i'll like collapse some day... :( I'm struggling so hard to lose weight.. weeks i can gain 3lbs even when i'm following the plan to the letter.. I've lost 2stone yes, but its taken me 6 months to do so. And 6lbs of that was on a VLCD.

Urgh. Being fat just gives doctors an excuse to tell you to basically eff off, and its one of the most infuriating things in the world!! I have a really serious complaint in my heels caused by really high arches and my doctor told me to lose weight...! My feet are actually physically changing size because of whatevers going on, and I have a non weight bearing arthritic history!

But I did have a hugely positive thing happen today. A nice lady in tescos (staff) who I would see quite regular, asked me how much weight i'd lost! And she said I looked fab etc :) You know its starting to happen when strangers feel like its enough to comment :p

So I'm back in the weight loss game, I've lost 5 stone over the past 2 years but I had lost all motivation for the final stone and a half. My sister is getting married in the middle of August and I want to be all done by then so I look dashing in my suit so now I feel ready to rock.

How's everyone else doing? I haven't been in this thread for ages.

I have no idea how much I weigh.

I did weight 9 and a half when I went to uni.

Then I when I started going to the gym I weighed 12 and half.

After around 3 months of gym-ing I weighted 13 stone.

I don't have a clue now, I actively avoided weighing myself and now I don't even think about it.

Going to the gym is so much fun though.

I did have a gym thread somewhere, I need to go back to that.

I'm about 6"1 in height! :)

I will be weighing myself on sunday so i will see where i am at!

ahh so your bmi is probably a lot better than mine :p

I had a subway -footlong steak and cheese, and a wcc cookie. I get 42 points per day and the sub was 24! It was damn good, but I struggled to finish it haha. My poor tum is conditioned to a lot less food :p

I went to my doctor, he was a bit patronising to say the least. He had to check google for my drug side effects then started going on about how you'd not want to look at in depth because its frightening stuff. and he kept blithering on about me working up to my exercise regime... fucks sake thats what i'm doing... argh fucking useless doctor!!! >_<

my dermy doctor and nurse both are in agreement with the hypoglycemia and weightloss problems so i guess ill go back to them about it.

I haven't been to the gym for ages, although I did a one off recently, and decided it wasn't to my taste since I much prefer sitting at home and playing CoH. Still, I miss the time when I'd go 5 days a week, it left me feeling pretty energised, and I was ridiculously strong. I'm 12 stone now, which is mostly just residual musculature/ the fact that I have killer genes =p.

bah to you and your genetics... every single woman on my maternal line is obese... and we're all built like tanks, tall and wide. :/

Being active is great, I feel wonderful when I'm doing lots of gym sessions, spin in particular :) I would say i'm strong for a girl, but not hugely strong. A lot of my freeweight exercises are done with my 8kg kettlebell.. I try not to laugh when I see wimmen floating around the gym with the pisshy 2kg ones :p I dont know how anyone gets any kind of resistance from 2kg

wahey, whys nobody posting in this! Its only ever active in the new year lol XD

I put on half a pound this week, long story but I ended up comfort eating just a little bit :( Silly r_a!

It's my bday weekend on this weigh in week, so I'm very very very unlikely to lose. Being good in prep for it (whereas i used to just eat whatever I wanted for the whole week!) so I'm proud that I managed to do well. Just giving myself sat and sunday to be naughty and back on the wagon monday... if i'm not too hungover from sunday night drinks :p LOL

I've wrecked my knee and my shoulder is just boloxed at the minute (numbness down my arm and all kinds of chaos :() so I might have to see a chiropractor to get the joint realigned...have to pay privately because my doctor is such a shit. Great.

A torn Leg muscle has stopped me from doing much this week, which is a pain considering how active I was last week with playing Golf everyday and 2 games of football and a spot of Tennis on the weekend. Unfortunately it's gonna take about a month to heal up. It's basically left me with nothing to do but eat.

I'm not that bothered however as I know I can easily lose any weight I might put on once i'm fit.

Weight is in... 17.00 Stone!!!!! (total loss since 16th Jan 11: 4 Stone 4 pounds!) :D Fuck yeah!

Although my BMI is now 31.4 which is still in the Obesity category :(

wowowow well done!!!! You're so close to getting out of it!

That's what... maybe... a stone to lose to get out of it?

kneeeee's biggest loser by far I reckon :)

I'm a wee bit off the rails food wise this (long) weekend. I am actually looking forward to getting back to normality. My mummy treated me to a walnut and carrot cake in the m&s cafe :3 Yay. Have been a bit lazy with my working out too, but it'll not have a significant impact on me, as long as I get back to it soon :) I've got a whole week off next week so plenty of time to get in some workouts and some spin classes :)

I was in the changing rooms when i was buying some clothes yesterday (a size down yesss) and I actually LIKED my legs. Which is something unusual for me... most of the time I feel depressed for the remainder of the day after a clothes shopping trip. It wasn't exactly a breeze and I've still got lots of work to do, but it was a great boost being a size smaller rather than the same or... bigger :o

Cheers! Well i did some quick calculations and yeah just under another stone loss would put me in the 'overweight' category but would need another 3 and ahalf stone (ish) to be in the 'healthy' chategory. But i suppose BMI is only a guideline and i would like to build some muscle to tone up loose skin etc which i am probably going to it!

Well it's been your birthday and everyon deserves treats on their birthdays! :D

Thats great with you going down a size! :) And like the look of your legs! :p

Eugh, I measured my body fat in September (19%) and again just now on what I'm guessing will be far less reliable scales because they're my own rather than the gyms high quality (34%). Only 71.6kg (I'm 179cm) and BMI of around 25 which is in the 'average' category which is fine. It's the Body Fat I'm worried about though as I can see much more fat around my waist than there was this time a year ago. I blame honours year and me having too much work to go to the gym or anything! Really started getting back into my running over the weekend and beginning of the week but hurting my feckin' toe has meant my good work went to waste. It's much better today so I'm hoping that tomorrow or Saturday I'll be able to go for a run. If not, I'll make the drive to a swimming pool of a decent length.

I'm now officially off the booze until I hit 30% body fat. Going to take a lot of work. Need to lose around 4kg which is over half a stone. I reckon with a good diet I could be able to hit that by the end of the month if I keep off the booze and work out a lot!

Target: 30% Body fat by August 1st

I shall be posting updates around twice a week!

Current:

Weight: 71.6kg

Bodyfat: 35%

BMI: 25

No real change for me this week, seem to be having a lull week and i have eaten nothing but my 'diet' food!

I'm trying to drink more water now though (from yesterday) as i am pretty sure i dehydrated a lot and if i have some water weight, it should help decrease that.
