Hmm for me it was:

Vents: Kasumi I believe

Biotic shield: Samara

Escort: Jacob

Team leader: always Miranda

Due to the way I played the game (visiting every planet possible when I was around, scanning and mining everything, doing all missions that I could find (except for one dlc mission I deliberately kept for after the suicide mission)), I had all upgrades and crewmembers and their loyalties when doing the final mission, so I was well prepared.

Who?s getting this for PC by the way? I?d like to do some co-op as well, if my internet is fixed by then. Although I think I know at least one person who?s getting it on PC.

I'm getting it on PC. Wasn't planning on getting it at release but I get the feeling my body isn't gonna listen as it keeps popping back into this thread.

Can't play the demo with my Shepherd :( About to delve into it now.

Enjoyed the demo, wanted more! Tried the female Shepherd, didn't enjoy her as much as male version.

Didn't see the extras for Reckoning that I may get though which was weird. Left me wondering if I did even get them. :woops:

The extras will be available upon game release.

Well finished off the few bits I wanted to do on Mass Effect 2 last night. 100% explored everywhere and did the Arrival DLC also read back through the codex and the journal to refresh myself on what I had done in the game. Was surprised at how long I had put into the game 46 hours I didn't think it was that long of a game.

I played some of the multiplayer (decided to leave single player) and loved it when it worked. I only levelled up to Level 5 and then thought would leave it as progress doesn't cross over. At first I was struggling to find a game and when I did people were dropping out or just running about like nutters. Mass Effect's combat does have a certain feel and pace to it and they have done an excellent job of putting this into multiplayer. However I think this uniqueness is very different to what most people expect from a shooter especially an online one. People were running into crowds of enemies expecting to take them out single handedly and wondered why they ended up dead. However I ended up in group where we all worked well and communicated much better and it went really well. I've always thought the game would lend itself well to multiplayer and think I even commented on here how well the combo of powers and players could work so well.

I for one am very excited at taking the war to Reapers online.

If the multiplayer is separate from the singleplayer, i may try it.

Got a few things left to do on ME2, Arrival and Shadow Broker DLC and recruiting 1 more crew member (w/t 2 loyalties). Planning on getting that done pretty soon(ish), then going to give myself a week off before cracking on with the 3rd.

Yeah it is pretty seperate it just adds to your galactic readiness score which adds you during the reaper assault, however there are others way to acquire it through the single player. The Shadow Broker DLC is amazing.

It's like (to use what everyone refers to even though it's far from the first one) Hoard Mode from Gears of War, with some simple objectives thrown in every few rounds.

Personally, I think it's much better than Gears 3 (the stuff they added detracts). In fact, it's simplicity, mixed with the levelling up, makes it feel quite fresh.

Oh i know, one of the best DLC packs for ME2. 2nd only to Arrival in my opinion.

No way! It's a million times better than Arrival...so much more complex and the plot stuff was far more impactful.

Comparing it to length, i agree it is longer to complete and there is something about it which makes it feel great. But as i said, in my opinion the Arrival is a great DLC as well. Probably because you go it alone with no back-up.

I wouldn't say thats where Mass Effects strengths lay at all so I don't why you would single this out as a reason. They aren't even in the same league and I don't mean just on length, I can list numerous individual parts of Shadow Broker that are out there as stand out Mass Effect series moments (both action and dialogue based). What parts could be described as such in Arrival?! Sure I think Arrivals scope was always smaller in that sense with just a couple of locations but nothing stood out all the combat areas were pretty standard fair and there was nothing there plot wise that stood out but Shadow Broker was just wow!

Even if they went bust tonight they would go into weeks of administration first - short of every store & warehouse inexplicably combusting in the same instance all pre-orders can be considered safe.

My worry was that they wouldn't be given the stock in the first place as what has been happening with GAME with different publishers.

But as I said above GAME seem confident they will get the stock.

I know you say that but a lot of their recent stocking issues seem to have come very last minute...I mean look at Tekken 3D Prime it was literally announced last week that they weren't stocking it. The this week they came out and said Ubisoft Vita titles aren't getting stocked.

Don't mean to worry just playing Devil's advocate so to speak.

What Cube said. His reason makes me think this situation is a bit different.

You can't scare me! :p

The other issues they have had are games that are being sold elsewhere and since I have asked them direct and they told me they will, they would be lying little cunts if they don't get them now (and as such, basically I will blow their HQ up). And even @Dyson told me on facebook (who works for GAME) they still have a good relationship with EA just not Nintendo and others...

The first bit of story DLC was put up on XBL by mistake, its been taken down now though. It costs 800 points. Kinda bullshit shit that this is only free on the collectors edition where as on ME2 the day one story DLC was free for all who redeemed a cerberus code regardless of which copy you had.

But the only me2 dlc that costed 800 points was the shadow broker, so it better live up to those expectations. I really wonder how it?ll fit in story-wise.. If it?ll be appropriate for both in the middle of the game and after beating the normal content.

Also decided playing the multiplayer part of the demo wasn?t going to spoil the single player, so I?ve been playing that, as I was curious what the gameplay was like, and to not be the total n00b when the game finally ships. Finally beat silver tonight. I don?t think my regular character (human male lvl 20 engineer) is appropriate for dealing with the likes of phantoms. Anyway. Few more weeks!
