flameboy Posted June 23, 2011 Author Posted June 23, 2011 I do indeed' date=' and we've actually made a great game![/quote'] I don't think I'd buy it. No offense. It is a space issue. I have a ton of time waster games that I play that stay on my ipod all the time and then amongest all my podcasts and music it leaves little room for apps above like 250mb... But good luck!
Dog-amoto Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Just bought Sword and Sworcery and can confirm that it is very good indeed! I love the soundtrack. Only played the first act so far, but am looking forward to playing more.
tapedeck Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Gameloft's new Max Payne rip off is out now 9mm and it's really good! My favourite Gameloft game so far. Also, online multiplayer is great fun.
Shorty Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I don't have my iPhone right now. I broke it, and pocketed the insurance money to keep to one side for the iPhone 5. I was getting along fine without it, not missing any apps at all really. Then I find out there's a Final Fantasy Tactics app! Damnit. If you iOS endowed people have not downloaded this yet. Shame on you.

Shame on you. Waiting for reviews to tell which one's better... psp or iOS. I'm betting on iOS for now, with touch controls and all... but you never know.
Dog-amoto Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Siege Hero free at the moment. Kind of like a first person Angry Birds. Worth it for £0.00
Jamba Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 BTW I picked up RAGE for free last night. Might still be that price if you check it out. Liking it so far considering it's on rails and keeping an eye out for ammo and being tempted by stuff all over the place makes for a great experience when balanced with choosing your weapon and reloading time at any given point. Definitely feels more like a light gun game but hey, I'm a big fan of those. HoTD please SEGA?
Ashley Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Question! (I've turned into Beyonce...) Examples of movement-input iPhone games. And I want ones that actually use it in an interesting way, not just 'tilt to move the character left/right'. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I want examples whereby it is used in more unique ways. Probably a rubbish way to phrase it but just throw names at me. Cheers.
Jamba Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Question! (I've turned into Beyonce...) Not a question but a fact :p There is that boggle type game, definitely uses some kind of dice or blocks anyway. When you tilted the phone it tilted the camera and simulated a 3d effect as you could look around the object.
Ashley Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 So...a non-augmented reality approach to augmented reality possibilities then?
Jamba Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 http://www.machwerx.com/apps/machdice/ Chur-ching! I'm not sure this is the best example but it is an example. I think this was the original but check out his other games as they might show the tech better.
Jamba Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Ok I thought I had read a 3DS article about this on Kotaku ages ago. BAM: http://kotaku.com/5499823/nintendo-3ds-could-borrow-3d-trick-from-iphone
flameboy Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 Everyone needs to download Jetpack Joyride it stars Barry Steakfries who was also in Age of Zombies and some other game. But really addictive and fun.
MATtheHAT Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 So, Santa left me an iPad under the tree for Christmas. I'm starting to get into the gaming - GTA3, Infinity Blade, Real Racing, 9mm, Sword and Sworcery, are fantastic games and shows how far the iOS gaming scene has come. Add me on Game Centre = Shoto-Mat
Shorty Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing is free today on the 12 days of Christmas app. It looks better than the Wii version, lols.
Jamba Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 It's based off the DS version which most of us at SEGA actually enjoyed more. So proud to see this game doing so well.
