ReZourceman Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 And their relaunch. I have always loved McFly. And I love their new track. Their personality really comes through on stage.
Beast Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I hate their songs except for the odd few. Busted FTW! :p
Daft Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I have always loved McFly. There's already a self-harm thread.
Eddage Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 ReZ, I feel like you're getting a lot of hatred in this thread. I however am here to share the love. Sure they may be shit and kinda cheesy but it's damn good fun music!

Shorty Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 McFly are a bit of a joke, I mean even at school it was not ok to like McFly, even for the girls. Massively uncool. However, the Chris Moyles show has "McFlyday" on which they play Star Girl every Friday. It's the only McFly song I could ever like, because it instantly makes me think "woo! Friday!" This new direction is a total embarassment. To their credit, McFly have done a good job of producing silly catchy pop songs with childish lyrics. You can't just suddenly turn that off, buy stupid new clothes and hair gel, take some HDR photos and release dance music. It's uncomfortable to experience.
Paj! Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Lol @ the generic dance track that is on EVERY chart song atm. Clearly they realised teen rock/pop is over. Time to join everyone desperate for a comeback using the same shit production. This is worse than JLS.
Jon Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Not too keen on the new direction but I find it quite amusing how much stick Mcfly get. They can all play their instruments to a fairly high standard and the guy Tom has written more number one singles than Jesus.
Paj! Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 If they produced something better with their instruments, I'd be more impressed. Yeah, they're more credible than...Britney Spears or something, but who isn't?
Ashley Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I actually like McFly. As Eddage said, its just good fun. Although I'm not really impressed with this new direction. Give me more songs about teen suicide goddamnit!
Beast Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I don't like it. I prefer the old McFly, they did have some good songs but I didn't like most of them. I like "It's all about you" and "The heart never lies" but I don't really like this new path they've taken.
