The only thing that really piqued my interest was,

-The game will be designed in such a way that the player will always get the feeling that someone or something is following him and doesn’t feel safe anywhere.

I haven't been following GameInformer. Nowt interesting?

Two drums and a symbol fell out a window.

But nobody was there to hear it.

(sidenote - go read supergayman, i heard his powers are really gay. It's a new comic featuring the force of homosexuality and has been reviewed well on Garden Force)

Arrrgh. Wake me up, when September starts...

That's probably because this is gonna kick KZ3 in the nuts.

I think it's because it looks like the animations have been vastly improved, and made better than KZ - which is fucking impressive because KZ looks stunning.

One thing that does bother me is the music. It's very generic with cheap string sounds, like something pulled from the soundtrack of a SyFy original.

On the more positive side the Auger looks fantastic. Apparently the game's already more or less playable from beginning to end, too, so it's in very good shape with around 8 months of development left to go.

I think they could get away with removing the HUD entirely (apart from small ammo indicators in bottom right). It looks fantastic without one.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/01/25/upcoming-novel-to-bridge-gap-between-resistance-2-resistance-3/

We wanted to be the first to bring you the exciting news that the Resistance series is expanding again, this time with a second novel from science-fiction author William C. Dietz. Resistance: A Hole in the Sky is set in the aftermath of Resistance 2’s finale and Lt. Nathan Hale’s death, and follows Resistance 3’s hero, Joseph Capelli, on his journey right up until the beginning of Resistance 3. For those of you who have been wondering about what happened after the shocking climax of Resistance 2, you won’t want to miss A Hole in the Sky when it releases this Summer from Del-Rey Books.

For those of you wondering what’s going on with Resistance 3 itself, you’ll be happy to know that we’re super busy preparing both Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank All 4 One for an upcoming media demo in London followed by the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco next month. We’ll be sharing new screenshots and gameplay video, and press will get their first hands-on impressions of both games.

Pretty sweet.

Noticed they've made the weapons a bit more accurate, also now there's KZ like hit-markers, so I'm guessing it'll play quite differently from the past two. As long as they keep up superhuman health in multiplayer this could be a right riot.

I'm rating the design.

The environment looks wonderful.

But it's really brown :hmm: Other than that it indeed looks wonderful. Haven't played either of the prequels, but the third installment has me interested.

I'm not worried because Resistance has always been good at mixing it up. Also, this is the first brown place we've seen. Everything else has looked pretty colourful. So, I wouldn't freak out or anything.

This game has 3D and move support.

I'm at risk of sounding like a Schiz. Or whatever the actual term is

Feel free to discuss how awesome this game will be.
