I ended up just binning all of mine a fair few years back now. I recently gave all my blu-rays to one of my sisters. Told her to take what she wanted and then either bin or sell the rest.

This was around 2012 I believe.
Happenstance Posted Friday at 12:37 PM Posted Friday at 12:37 PM I probably would have traded in all my dvds at some point but I got rid of all the boxes and put them into sleeves and an organiser drawer. That of course now lives in the garage so well worth the effort!
Will Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago For anyone interested here is the stuff I’ve sorted through so far at my parents place: Spoiler Not sure whether to give eBay a try or just dump it all to CEX. Are there any other ways of getting rid of this type of stuff nowadays? 1 1
Will Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago The box is a bit banged up but one of those Dreamcasts is brand new:
Hero-of-Time Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago The new Dreamcast is probably worth putting on eBay. Given its condition, you will probably get a lot more than what CEX are offering.
Will Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Yeah, I might try it for all of the potentially higher value stuff. The difference between CEX buy and sell price is quite wide, even landing half way between feels worth it.
Ashley Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago You kept things in good condition by the looks of it. Was in CEX earlier killing time and I saw a GBA and it reminded me of picking mine up on launch day at the Game where years later I would end up working. Always felt it was cool that my reservation number was 007.

For the most part yes, I’m a bit annoyed with my Dad for ramming so so much of it in boxes too small to move house but I guess that’s my fault for not being there to sort it properly. 1 hour ago, Ashley said: Was in CEX earlier killing time and I saw a GBA and it reminded me of picking mine up on launch day at the Game where years later I would end up working. Amazingly Stourbridge used to have an awesome little Indy game store and they sorted a Japanese one with Mario Kart for me. I was the coolest kid in school. 1
