Emerald Emblem Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 When I tried playing on Tuesday, I couldn't play any of the playlists. Next day I could, kinda odd.
Dyson Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 Played the new maps a little bit, quite liking 'em! The snowy one on stockpile was awesome, <3 Banshee's!
Llama Juice Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I've been enjoying them a fair bit. Can't really complain. Tempest feels a lot like Relic to me, and that makes me very very happy. I miss Halo 2
ipaul Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 BUMP So is anyone still playing this? I know I am. Quite like the most recent map pack that was released, think Highlands is probably the best map in all of Reach. Shame they think 10 players is enough to fill the map at the moment. Currently working my way through grade 4 of General towards Field Marshall, which is when the grades really start to get ridiculous. Grifball has some cool variants these days, love the one with the jetpacks. After all this time I still find the challenges addictive, especially the weekly ones. Complete 9 levels on Heroic this week? Easy. The third level can be done in less than five minutes if you know how Also still a fan of the armory, though for the armor I really want I have to be Mythic which is just....I don't even... Anyone else still a fan?
ipaul Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Haven't touched it since a week after release. Real helpful :|
Zell Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 In hindsight, I thought Reach was a letdown. The maps were rubbish, I didn't like the gameplay changes, the ranking system was removed, the playlists were bad, I wasn't a fan of the perks... Halo 3 was just much better in every way. That said, I played it quite consistently up until after the first map pack came out. The best thing about Halo is playing in a team with your mates, but less and less of my mates were playing it so eventually I stopped too. I might play this again sometime this summer, but I think I'd rather pop in Halo 3 for old times' sake.
Dyson Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Fucking loved this game, was let down by the lack of people I knew playing it. They'd all rather play MW2.. ¬¬

ipaul Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 ODST Singleplayer + Halo 3 multiplayer > Halo Reach The ODST campaign was complete horseshit. By far the worst in the series. Halo 3 multiplayer...I put them on a par. Not tonight Mick.
The Peeps Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 I liked ODST... and it gave us Firefight mode which was brilliant. I'm still playing Reach intermittently
Dan_Dare Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Halo Reach has improved a lot since launch. More lists, less armour lock and more maps = much better experience.
