Strange Cookie Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) Adventures of young Goku. Not a Z in sight. Which means no "It's over ninethousaaaaaaaaaaand!!!" *crushes scouter* -crap. Mix of 2D and 3D-gameplay? Dragonball Origins was pretty good. Might be interesting! Edited May 20, 2009 by Strange Cookie
Ike Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Yeah! Looking forward to this, Origins was good, and I like the original DB more than Z. Looks like it goes up to Piccolo.
triforcemario Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Judging by the length of that wiimote in the scan, it seems it might be using Wii Motion Plus.
Ike Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Screenshots! http://cafe.daum.net/FoReVerDB/4nho/15170 The full game title is Dragon Ball: The World's Greatest Adventure.
STOOPIDDITTIES Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Screens are looking very decent indeed. Not a fan of Dragonball myself but if this turns out to be a good adventure game I'll certainly pick it up.

Yeah I'm in a similar position to you. Not a huge fan of Dragonball by any means but if the game turns out good then of course I might just end up with it. Cel shading ftw.
EchoDesiato Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Looks great. Graphically, it also looks way more appealing than the newly announced DBZ game for PS3/360.
James McGeachie Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Character models are great, spot on likenesses though I expect no less from cel shaded games now. Environments and textures on the other hand are a bit poor. Also no idea about the gameplay.
Ten10 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Well after the debacle that was the dragonball movie this might be enough to stop me crying to sleep at night.

EEVILMURRAY Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Well after the debacle that was the dragonball movie this might be enough to stop me crying to sleep at night. If you distance yourself from the animé and stop expecting it to be so similar the movie doesn't seem that bad. T'was what I did. I knew it would be nothing like DBZ.
ShadowV7 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Even as a movie, not relating it the anime, it's still a big steaming bundle of shit.
