I've quite a bit of discordant music in my collection, but shouty songs do nothing for me. I see it a bit like swearing: if you're having to do it all the time then you're making up for a lack of ability. That said, if other people enjoy such music then I'm not going to stop them. There's too many Scallies out there blasting out their hip-hop crap, they need to be taken down a peg or two. Rock will always win out against hip-hop in a loud music battle.
