Shorty Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 They're like... 59p. For one packet of crisps that I might not even like. I'll never know. Which of you FREAKS voted for Fish n CHips? Are you cereal?!lol. Corn Flakes.
Jav_NE Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 Just had the Onion Bhaji ones. Not bad really. Still not amazing though. There's just not enough flavour to any of them that i've had so far. In fact i sometimes wish i'd paid the same money for a bag of Thai Sweet Chilli sensations. They will never be beat! Three more to taste though, so who knows.
McPhee Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 They should've done Haggis, Neeps and Tatties (or just Haggis alone) flavour! Will have a try, but none of them sound very good
Supergrunch Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 None of these have hit Shetland yet... *sigh* They don't seem to have hit Cambridge, either. Or at least, not Sainsbury's, which the only accessible supermarket here.
not_so_tiny Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 So far I've tried the Cajun Squirrel, Duck and Chili and Chocolate crisps. I like both the first too but even thinking about the Chili and Chocolate ones makes me feel ill, they were foul.
CoolFunkMan Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Cajun Squirrel is the best!! I've only tried that, the duck and the Builder's Breakfast. After my experience with them, I have no incentive to try any of the other falvours tbh. The Builder's Breakfast tasted manky, and the duck is the worst thing I've ever tasted. The Squirrel was actually nice though, so it wasn't all bad I guess.
Jav_NE Posted February 6, 2009 Author Posted February 6, 2009 Fish & Chips is pretty nice actually. Best one so far, follwed by Onion Bhaji. I have high hopes for Squirrel and Builders Brekkie though. They are the only ones left to taste.
Serebii Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 They all sound horrific Thanks, I thought I was the only one who thought this
Raining_again Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 what happened to god old Cheese & Onion and BBQ flavours... whats with all this new fanciness? I'm more of a Tayto man myself anyway, though I would like to try the Onion Bhaji flavor Taytoooooo- I swear the one thing I'd miss if I left this country! Do they sell them outside of ireland yet? Try the onion bhaji, it is yum!
MadDog Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I've only tried Chilli and Chocolate, and actually thought they were alright. Wouldn't buy them again though, but i do wanna try Onion Bhaji.
McPhee Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Thanks, I thought I was the only one who thought this Far from the only one. Cajun Squirell sounds the nicest, but only by process of elimination...
Dyson Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I've now tried the entire range, and can say that the most surprising one for me has to be either Chili and Chocolate, as I was expecting it to be vile but it was actually rather nice, or the Duck one which surprised me with how authentic it tasted. My favourite has to be either the builders breakfast or the squirrel ones though. Heartily recommended!
MadDog Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I just, about 2 minutes ago, tried the builders Breakfast, and it's absolutely vile Tastes horrible...
Jimbob Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I tried a Chilli and Chocolate last night, actually thought it was a decent flavor. Not as nice as the Onion Bhaji though.
spenno182 Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 only tried Fish and Chips, thought they were fairly nice. A bit like Scampi Fries.
