pedrocasilva Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Whats the weird page about when u click on the red U? U-can thingy.
ShadowV7 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Whats the weird page about when u click on the red U? Some DS Game that was out last year or something. Though something between the 8th and 30th was happening. And anyone recognise the sound effect, when you click on the mushroom? Nope
pedrocasilva Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 And the one when you click on the P? (in Producer)
Ganepark32 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Thought I recognised the sound effects on the P and the mushroom but when I checked them with what I thought it wasn't the same. Also, the high rating, sex and violence in the game put dividends to what I thought it was aswell. Perhaps the noises are just to throw people off.
Retro_Link Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 There are 'Let's Catch' [WiiWare] videos by clicking on the 'C' of Coming Soon. Were all these things here before? Maybe I just didn't bother exploring the page, or have they been added as time has gone on?
Ganepark32 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Think they've been added as time goes on. They are certainly distracters and none of them have anything to do with the announcement from clicking them.
Retro_Link Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 Couple of updates on the Sega page... - Mushroom grows when you scroll over it. - Click Sega for the awesome retro "SEGA" sound effect!
Cube Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 As for the "Zelda" one: It's a PSP game - I think it's just called "30".
Tellyn Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 As for the "Zelda" one: It's a PSP game - I think it's just called "30". Damn it. I was hoping that Marvellous would be working on a handheld Zelda, like Flagship used to.
nekunando Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 ..meh.. I was hoping for something at least Wii or DS related That's one hope gone, hopefully the Sega Countdown will lead to something more interesting
Dante Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Sega's game: Pole's Big Adventure WiiWare That mystery Sega title which was hinted at in a teaser website last week has been revealed in advance on this pages of this week's Famitsu. Titled Pole's Big Adventure, this WiiWare game is not quite the Phantasy Star sequel you might have been expecting when it was revealed that Phantasy Star Universe producer Takao Miyoshi is serving as producer. Pole's Big Adventure has 8-bit visuals and appears to have simple 8-bit side scrolling gameplay to match. In classic platforming style, you take control of main character Pole, and advance through the stages from left to right, avoiding obstacles. You can jump over enemies or shoot them, but touch anything, and you lose life. The big charm of the game, it seems, is in its humor. Players will find over 100 gags hidden through the stages. As an example, one gag has your character eating up so many power ups (in the form of the mushroom that's on the current teaser site) that he turns into a giant, with his pixely feet nearly filling up the screen. Will this be enough to warrant the 500 WiiPoint purchase price? We'll find out soon enough, as Pole's Big Adventure hits the Japanese WiiWare service on February 3. The full official unveil for the title is still expected on Friday at the teaser site.
Shino Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Sega's game seems to have a series of Mario references.
Dante Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Sega's game seems to have a series of Mario references. The Sega's game is reference to all NES type games.
Dante Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 What's your source, Dante? The segas game source is from IGN. Marvellous's game is Yuusha 30 PSP Yuusha30/Hero30 (MMV) - PSP - RPG themed minigame adventure with 4 different types of games - Hero30 is a side scrolling dungeon action mode - Princess30 is a top down shooter/defense mode - Knight30 is a top down action mode where you avoid traps - Archmage30 is a top down RTS mode where you summon monsters - Each stage gives you 30 seconds to clear it, hence the title - Characters level up from killing monsters in each stage - You aim to defeat the Archmage in each stage in the other modes
