While the screen shot is positive, it doesn't mean it will be there. That was because the first ever video of Rockband had the Harmonix testers playing welcome to the jungle, with the Guitar Hero 2 controllers. Fierce_LiNk Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 I managed to play this on the 360 with some mates. We had 2 guitars (one was the guitar hero guitar), the drums and a microphone. It was fun, had a great time. I think I do much prefer the guitar hero guitar. It seems more user friendly to me, and it seems a hell of a lot easier to feel the buttons, which helped me a lot in trickier songs. There's some good songs in the game though, and I was pleased to see Cherub Rock was in there (as it is in GH3), so we had the whole band rocking to it. I'm playing GH3 on the PC and would like to pick up a guitar as I got (just) the game for a tenner at a carboot. If I can get any guitar it would be better - obviously. We'll just be scrolling down, checking the setlist, going "Ah, this looks like a good setlist." then Run to the Hills pops up last, "Oh, fuck off!" we would then yell. You could put it down to it being the hardest song on both Guitar and Drums (we're both playing it on Expert), or you could put it down to the fact that my bandmate & I absolutely fucking hate this song, and don't understand why so many people like Iron bastard Maiden. It pops up far too many times that we leave so many setlists undone, and we can't be bothered to do them. We had the same problem with setlists having "Celebrity Skin" in them, but at least Celebrity Skin is a piece of piss. At least Enter Sandman is fun to play, and I hated that song before. And I don't even like Metallica. I just hope that Rock Band 2 doesn't have the same bloody mistake as this one. I would wager there being another Iron Maiden track on RB2, seeing as every bugger likes them, but hopefully it won't pop up that often in BWT.
