Ah just realised something, watching an old ep on Sky 2, when the hybrid spoke to Starbuck, it said "The missing 3 will lead you to the 5 who came from the home of the 13th"

So I guess that answers my question is all 12 Human-Form-Cylons came from Earth... only the "Final 5" did.

So left wondering then what is the relationship between the first 7 and the final 5? Could be possible the final 5 built the "first 7"? That could explain a little how the first 7 didn't know what the final 5 looked like?

But then how did the final 5 lose their memories that they were Cylons and why?

Ah grrrr.... this is what I hate about TV shows... having to wait a week to find out what happens next :heh:

That episode was awesome.

I actually had the theory of a Cylon Earth since Kobol in the second season but it still came as some sort of surprise to me.

That episode also had so many things happening. I really couldn't believe for a second that Dee shot herself and also Kara finding her own corpse - frakking insane.

I already have some new theories ready though.

About the final five: In Tyrol's flashback we also see other people, so there must have been more. Maybe the final five refers to the survivors, being the only five left of what was planet Earth or it refers to five models but that each model has many different shells or looks if you will but share the same character.

The other 7 Cylon models didn't know much about the final five so could it be that the final five created the other Cylons models? Maybe the seven models were put in a sleeper ship when the final five realized that Earth was at the brink of destruction.

With Kara apparently being the harbinger of death and all the resurrection stuff going on I'm wondering if she actually is one of the Gods. Saul made it look like his wife was the last Cylon so that rules her out and she would also be too much of an obvious choice for the creators.

After all the Gods hunted the 13 Tribes on Kobol which led to the Exodus in the first place, so maybe Kara is here to make sure it happens again.

But then how did the final 5 lose their memories that they were Cylons and why?

Maybe they are not resurrected but were reincarnated. If you have a look at Buddhism, they also believe in reincarnation and although reincarnated persons often do not conciously remember their former life they will remember when confronted with stuff from their former lives.

It also doesn't seem to me like the final five can resurrect, because in that case there would have been some information about them in the databanks of the resurrection ship. Of course the Cylons could always have overlooked it but I doubt that.

That's a good theory, I had to go wiki some stuff for a bit to refresh my memory on past events.

It looked like most of the episode Starbuck was gonna be the 5th but that would have been too obvious a choice.

Then Saul had his flash back which seems to confirm Ellen was the 5th... we just have to wait and see if he tells anyone this... although shouldn't the Number 3 know? Or did she only see the faces of 4 of the 5 or was it all of them?

Anyway, I had not considered the possibility that the Gods of Kobol may have been real people.... but if Starbuck is not the 5th and she's obviously something else, this could be it. But what else could that mean? If Starbuck is also meant to be the "Harbinger of Death" for the human race which God might she be? It's highly suggested that the Cylon God was once a member of the Gods of Kobol till he/she decided he/she wanted to be worshiped as the one and only God.

It was this conflict that caused the humans to leave Kobol.... what if Starbuck is somehow actually that God... the Cylon God.... haha, now there's a mind frak for ya

I like the reincarnation idea for the lack of memory, good thinking... the show has used many other religions and such why not throw buddhism in too?

Although I had a feeling the final 5 do (or did) have the ability to resurrect, could be when they were on Earth they were the ones who invented the ability of Cylon resurrection and this was their plan for surviving an impending end of the world. And this is why they are the only survivors, they could have had their own personal Resurrection Ship floating in orbit.

After that, they eventually found the 12 Colonies and found the Cylons those Humans created, and decided to make more Human-Form Cylons making the other 7 and giving them the ability to download/resurrect, after that some sort of incident happened that caused them to lose their power to resurrect (or maybe they can and they still have their own personal hidden resurrection ship) and they ended up living with the humans..... or maybe all 5 died, they were being resurrected on their smaller resurrection ship, which crashed on a colony planet and they lost their memories and just assumed they were human.

K, i'm gonna "try" to stop theorising over this, my head hurts, i should wait for the next ep :heh:

just a thought: perhaps the 13th colony turned themselves in to cylons? You can imagine a scenario where they tried to gain immortality by crossing over in to cylon bodies. That could have triggered the original war, and the final 5 are the ones who survived it by planting their host bodies on the 12 colonies...

or maybe there's something about Earth. Maybe they did something there that means if you die, you get ressurected somewhere else. It would explain what happened to Starbuck.

frak I dunno. Too many missing pieces.

I do like the idea of Starbuck being a god. But thats because I love Starbuck. Plus I'd imagine that'd frak her up a bit, she does have this underlying inferiority complex (cursed mother) so it may screw her up.

Also heard that theory that something about Earth makes you able to ressurect which may explain it.

But that would mean that any who died on Earth would get resurrected... which would mean the whole planet would have resurrected after the Nuclear fallout not just the "final 5"... Unless the over 6 billion went in a different direction and made an Earth 2 :heh:

Just watched ep 12, pretty good.

Good to see they dealt with the Chiefs kid, I was wondering what would happen there considering the deal that was made out of Hera being half Cylon, had a feeling someone else might have been the father.

The whole situation with the Alliance, the Vice President and now Geta, damn a lot of shit is gonna happen... at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if the whole human race was extinct at the end of the final episode.

The old man's ill appearance made me wonder if the old prophecies might still be right, and that he's the dying leader that will lead them to 'earth' (or, at least, the promise land). Baltar's speech is pretty much asking for a Jesus Christ style incarnation of God, too. A good episode but not a great one, seems to be building more stuff than answering - but that's fine with me.

Inteeeeennssssssssse!

And yay the conclusion (unless its a three parter) is on my birthday :D

Was nice/hot to see Starbuck armed to the nines. They need to give Six more stuff to do than coddle a baby though...

Shame the humans don't see how incredibly racist they're being eh? Oh well, hindsight is everything.

ep 13, on man that was some awesome shit

Damn, talk about edge of your seat stuff, I wasn't expecting Felix's revolution to kick off so quickly... actually I thought it might get stopped before it got started.

And yeah Ash seeing Starbuck tooled up was damned awesome... and how baddass was she when she saved Lee, wicked stuff.

And the ending, damn I hate when they end things like, start the countdown till next week.

Holy Shit

Dual Wielding Saul!:o

This episode kicked some major ass. Don't know what will I do when this season is over:weep:

Gaeta, treacherous son of a bitch. I hope they cut off your other leg. And arms.

"NO!" has never had such resinence since Vadar (but thankfully this one is for the right reasons). Wonderful stuff by McDonnell.

Was obvious they would survive but to see them fight their way up shows why they were in command in the first place. Adama and his band of mildly-happy men at the end was awesome to see.

Shame Six still isn't doing much. But NaturalHairSix (I believe that's Tricia's hair anyway) was nice to see. And amusingly typical of Gaius to just jump into bed with her. And it seems he's finally beginning to see what a tool he is.

Will be a shame to see Gaeta go.

Fun seeing Lee and Kara. Their exchange "not funny"/"would have been if you did it" was amusing and I agree with Lee. If it had been Kara she'd have been chuckling away.

What an awesome episode for my birthday :D 6 more left though :):(

Ep 14: holy hell they did it again

Jesus Christ what are we gonna do when this ends? Another gripping and awesome episode. Awesome to see Galactica is back in Adama control. Did not expect to see it happen so quickly though. Thought this ep might be padded out with a "fake" trail for Adama... but nope, all the way through it.

Baltars dream of Adama being shot fracking freaked me out, was thanking the Gods when it turned out to be a dream.

Fracking Zeleck(sp?) killing all the Quarm(sp?) members was bloody shock horror (though I guess this will make things easier for allowing the "friendly" Cylons full fleet citizenship).

I actually didn't enjoy seeing Felix what he deserved as much as I thought I would. Oddly kinda ended up feeling sorry for him. Was kinda weird too, given what happened to him after New Caprica when he was "on trail" as a Cylon Collaborator, and you were kinda hoping he would be saved, to now with hoping he gets a bullet in the head...yet as I said, oddly feeling sorry for him in the end.

Zeleck however, THANK FRACK he got a bullet, only problem I had with it is they didn't show him as the bullets smashed through his skull, hahaha.

Now I hope in the next episode they deal with what the hell Starbuck is and how the final 5 got off Earth in the first place

Zarek

Quaram

Frak

(lol sounds like BSG porn)

Isn't it Quorum?

A brilliant episode. Tom Zarek tried to be a politician and convince everyone that he actually was one and in the end proved to be a terrorist like he used to be before the war. I like how this played out.

I was wondering what Adama would do with Zarek and Gaeta. I actually didn't expect him to have them executed. Especially because he was sitting on the same spot only hours before and didn't get much of a trial either, yet he reacted in the same way.
