ReZourceman Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Thought it was something wrong with YT earlier, but its become apparent that my mouse keeps double clicking when Ive only single clicked. I have no idea whats happened/how Ive triggered it. Any help? Cheers mateys.
Shorty Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 As far as I know its not a normal windows option to be able to change a double click to a singleclick, are you using any 3rd party mouse software, like Logitech? Might be in the options for your mouse settings. Otherwise I'd say your mouse button's just broken.
ReZourceman Posted March 23, 2008 Author Posted March 23, 2008 Damn could be broken then, its just a Microsoft mouse....although it seems okay today. Fingers crossed. Cheers lads.
Emasher Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Is it just a normal sort of mouse or does it have a different kind of button or something?
thirtynine. Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Are you clicking down the mouse button twice?
Konfucius Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Try out a different mouse so at least you can be sure it's no mouse error. Maybe a joke virus in that case or a pretty wierd bug.
Calza Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 If you don't get a infraction then I will be annoyed (nothing against you, just the mods ), I'm looking at you Moria.
Gizmo Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 This has happened to me on my old computer. Seems completely random when it occurs.
scubahood Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 If you don't get a infraction then I will be annoyed (nothing against you, just the mods ), I'm looking at you Moria. Why does what he said deserve an infraction. His comment was completely tongue in cheek no harm done
Calza Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Cause thats exactly what I did and Moria gave me a infraction for it.
Caris Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Ah i get it now, i was confused there. Anyways back on topic. Rez i would look into getting a Apple Mac, OSX is the worlds most advanced operating system and provides nearly 43% more software stability for mice than Windows.
MoogleViper Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Are you clicking down the mouse button twice? Haha nice one. Rez i would look into getting a Apple Mac, OSX is the worlds most advanced operating system and provides nearly 43% more software stability for mice than Windows. That sounds like a pretty shitty statistic.
MoogleViper Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 It was a joke I wasn't sure. I could actually imagine somebody actually using this as an arguement. ReZ have you tried using a different mouse?
Emasher Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 If you don't get a infraction then I will be annoyed (nothing against you, just the mods ), I'm looking at you Moria. Its valid advice, it will solve the problem and ensure that it never happens again. Though its not something he's going to do, there's no reason it cannot be suggested. Its pretty standard. Not really, all cheap mice are pretty much the same but alot of the more expensive mice are different.
ReZourceman Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 Not really, all cheap mice are pretty much the same but alot of the more expensive mice are different. Huh? How is this a response to what I said? Are you saying Im wrong? Lol.
Tellyn Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 He's too busy pushing the Mac in another completely unrelated thread... ReZ, you're not using a laptop are you? (And by the way, have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in? )

(And by the way, have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in? ) Nah its a PC...and well its wireless...but I havnt tried unplugging the receiver yet. It seems to of sorted itself out though. When I said that last time it did actually do it again though but it seems okay now. (Not literally now, but like now) (Ie Im not on it now)
Emasher Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Perhaps I thought you were talking about a different post than you were. NVM.
