I hate that type of role, because you don't know if you are in or out, and I didn't want to align myself until I knew who was winning. But yeah, the mafia did a good job. Nintendohnut Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 Yeah it was really unbalanced because everyone voted off evil people in the town. The evils had no idea what was going on and so when there was someone saying "I have evidence this guy is evil" we all had to vote to look innocent, and when he was proven evil we couldn't do anything. Basically it was a normal game of town vs. mafia except we were all trying to vote off the good people. I got annoyed by this in the end, especially as there was nothing we could do about it. It would have really helped if the good mafia had been smaller, or if we had been given some indication that the roles had been switched. Oh well. The game was extremely balanced in the way of the evil mafia. They had several killing powers, the goodies only had one. If you'd all voted off Esequiel yesterday, the Evil Mafia would have won. But if I had said that I would have gotten shot down so I couldnt. I find it really annoying that the good people could back each other up so easily and not be thought of as a mafia purely because they were good. In any normal game we would have killed them all straight away because it was obvious they were working together, but because we didn't know what was going on, we assumed they were just lucky. I actually took out two people from the good mafia and could've killed more if you had kept me around. =P By the way, I did not turn people into zombies like I think someone said. And that would imply that out of the 8 runner ups, there's only 2 who are neutral. And if there were that many zombies running around, that makes no sense. Agreed, the mafia don't usually have that many even in a normal game! So we had very little hope in a game where the roles were reversed. And there was never much chance in us voting off Esequiel. Lots of people weren't taking part (which made it hard since we needed everyone to vote) and the good guys weren't exactly gonna vote off their killer. Yeah, I'm slightly bitter, but only because the game was unbalanced and I feel if it had been the other way around (ie the mafia had been marked evil) we would have had a lot more chance.
