Feminists are lying scum. Women are NOT paid less for the same work, as it would be cheaper to hire women for companies. Women are paid less because they don't work as hard as men, take more time off, and refuse to do certain dangerous jobs which pay more. They LIE about rape statistics, domestic violence statistics, and about how women became able to vote. I can PROVE they are lying filth if any one wants to challenge my claims. They're evil, lying, shit heads. They are the KKK for women.

I'm all for equal rights, but they are not. They're liars.

Which feminists though. Radical? Liberal? Socialist? Post-structural? Indivdidualist? Those who call themselves feminists because they believe themselves to be strong*? Those who have the label applied to them because they are strong*? You can't write off such a large and vast group of people (women and men) as liars** through some youtube video.

* Strong in this sense referring to the more abstract idea, personal conviction, will power etc. Not physcial strength.

** Other than the simple fact everyone lies.

The most well known ones are the ones who represent the movement, and they're the ones who continue to lie. I'm aware of all the diff types of feminism and the only type that don't make me wanna vomit are libertarian feminists. The rest all seem to be a complete load of lying scum. Their ideology is built on lies, and any one who knowingly goes along with it after knowing the facts, is obviously deviant.

Not all KKK members killed either, yet we rightfully blast them for going along with such a movement.

Nightwolf - get off your period. The pay gap has been debunked, no discussion to be had regarding it.

Well as long as it wasn't complete ignorance. Yeah those who (mis)represent a group are annoying, but it exists within every group. The stupid are far more often listened to.

And pay gaps do still exist. My manager (female) earns less than my assistant manager (male).

But does that mean that because I am different to you and have different sexual organs that if we were to have the same job that I should get less pay than you?

Personally, I think not, and it's not just me being biased I would say the same if it was for males. It's not right to say that we are completely different, the only thing that seperates us are our sexual organs (ok and boobies) but still, females are still humans and still do the same job and get way less than we should.

It's not fair and it's not right to expect us to work are asses off and not get the same pay.

I think you misinterpreted my post.

I opened it by saying that true feminism was a good thing - I definitely meant this in terms of things that can be realistically made equal, like pay. I mean, I'm practically a feminist, though I disagree with the term because it already carries loaded inequality. What I was saying was that there are things we cannot and should not change - men and women are different (and the buck definitely does not stop at simply sexual organs) and this is a good thing that should be accepted.

This doesn't stop at feminism. All people are different, and the sooner this is recognised the better.

The pay gap exists and will continue to exist because men are just more dedicated to earning money. The only way to get rid of it is communism. As for the examples given, chances are there are other reasons they are paid less, such as experience, hours put in, or qualifications. It just wouldn't make business sense ti pay men more when they could hire cheaper women. Anything else is an exception, not the rule

I can understand your point of view. I think your opinion hinges on your idea that men work harder than women at the same job. To some degree, you are correct, I'm sure -- but the main counterclaim to that viewpoint is the case-by-case difference in the job itself. Some jobs can be defined as 'easier' for different sexes. To some extent it could be fair to say that one sex is better than the other - but then the problem shifts from the job to the individual person, for not all men are strong, not all men tall, not all men able to do maths. While saying certain jobs are easier for certain sexes might be true, it's a statement/observation that actually only covers the nth percentile of the population. While that is indeed the majority, if you start collecting all the individuals that fit into one nth or another across the whole spectrum of jobs, you start seeing the number of people that don't fit into the job stereotype aren't represented all too fairly if you say that this sort of person does all of this better than that sort of person.

So basically; generalising overlooks the truth. If we start generalising about feminists, who are generalising about women, who are generalising about inequality, which is generalising about who is better than who, who also generalise when they go on forums when they are generalising about feminists, we get nowhere.

Man, I'm full of some shit today.

Nah, that was a marvelous post. I so did a dramatic reading of it.

I'd argue that when men appear as objects in adverts it's normally a joke, whereas with women it's serious and it's degrading.

I disagree strongly with this. As Haggis said men do appear as objects although women appear as "objects" more. The reason for this is that most men's adverts have a sexy woman. And most women's adverts have a sexy woman.

No offence but I hate it when feminists say that things are degrading. Nobody is forcing the women to do those things. They do it by choice. Take porn for example. Feminists go on about how it is degrading to women. 1) the women choose to be in it and 2) men star in porn as well.

Another things is that the other week when watching Ashes to Ashes my mum said that it isn't fair that a woman who sleeps around gets called a slag whereas a man doesn't. But in my experience it is the women who call the other women slags not the men. I think that if a woman wants to sleep with lots of men then that's fine.

I may be wrong but I'm sure that in something like the army or the fire service women don't have to lift as much as men.

I wasn't originally going to post on here because most of the time the subject annoys me because theres always someone *cough* who says something along the lines of ''get back in the kitchen'' eurgh.

This is a man's forum. Stop trying to think and go back to the kitchen where you belong.

Sorry Nightwolf I couldn't resist.

I didn't said that because I believe so, I said it to prove a point. An example. And yes, this topic annoys me too. But just because of this, tell me...If a woman gets paid less than a man for doing the exact same job ( which does not exist...indeed, one might have the same job position, but the job gets done differently every time ) we are against women. But what about the millions of other guys who don't get paid as much as the other? are you saying that the guys have a greater potencial of having better paying jobs than women? personally, it's bullshit! There are more women than men in the world. You are entering, slowly but inevitably, in every area of the economy. Just be patient. Because if one thing is true, it's that men did all the good, and bad, work to have the world that we have today. You can't just expect they'll deliver it like gifts at xmas. If the same job would've been done by women, men would be saying the same. It's a recurrent human behaviour:smile:
