Zell Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Just picked this up from game at £12, and it's amazingly fun! So much satisfaction in pummeling monkeys, bats and "turret tusks". Plus I love riding the rhino thing. Anyone else pick this up?
Kurtle Squad Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 It's awesome....haven't played it in ages though. I assume you already know not to actually clap your hands:heh:
Ike Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Great game, too bad it don't sell to well. I found I can't play it for long periods of time though, since my arms got tired.
Mike Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Great game, definitely in my GameCube Top 10. One of the later levels, where you can reach the end without touching the floor, is one of my favourite platform game levels ever.

I thought that's how you got the best rank/score in this game?!
Tetzcatlipoca Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Ah I love that game ... my hands would always be really red and aching after that, but it was so worth it ... my legs were always numb too, from being crossed for extended periods of time. The bongos were a surprisingly good method of control too!
Mike Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Can't you do that on every level? I thought that's how you got the best rank/score in this game?! You still have to touch the floor at some point on other levels. The one I'm thinking of, the Chili Pepper Kingdom, will give you something like a 18* combo if you do it right.
IMJ Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Ah, good to know there's appreciation to this game. Definitely one of the freshest and funniest game in YEARS! Not bad for an upstart studio: Nintendo EAD Tokyo, the same team behind Mario Galaxy. I never got around to finish it, but I had lots and lots of fun. Definitely a must-buy if you can find it. No regrets there.

nekunando Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 I got this for £12 new, in GAME, a few months ago (must have been around Christmas, probably a bit after) and it is brilliant I had spotted Metroid Prime Hunters that day for £20 and was going to get it, but was shopping around to see if I could get it cheaper and then I spotted this! I was debating which game to get, but in the end I just bought both I need to go and get a few more gold medals..
