kcl91
Great news! My B'day's (14th Aug!) coming up and my parents are buying me a Wii tomorrow!. Currently in GAME they have a deal where if I buy a Wii, I get Sonic and Secret Rings for £20 which brings the total to £200. So i have a question. My limit is £250. So £50 should go towards...? -Is there a good game that i should buy or any accessories? (Wii points, controllers etc.) -Is Wii Play good/worth it? ((BTW I don't want Zelda, Classic Controller))
Dexter
get resi 4 for sure: peace:
Caris
Yeah try and pick up Resi 4 and Mario strikers second hand. Shouldnt be much more then £50.
Goron_3
Don't get Strikers unless you can play multiplayer a lot. Resident Evil 4 is a MUST, whilst Trauma Center is also a great game.
Ashley
-Is Wii Play good/worth it? £2? Yes. Its worth £2.
Mikey
LMAO ^^ Yeah, get Resi 4. Good shit that game. Not played any others apart from Resi and TP though. Madden looks like it's gonna kick some ass when it comes out though.
pedrocasilva
Sonic and the Secret Rings rocks while it lasts. Oh, and Eledees.
dazzybee
Play is worth it as you get another wiimote with it and its £30 in Blockbuster so you're basically getting Wii Play for free. Sonics great so you have a good one there. Godo games? Trauma Centre, Excite Truck, Eledees, SSX Blur, Call of Duty 3, Red Steel, Koroinpa, Godfather, Scarface....... Depends on what 'type' of games you like. If you plan on multiplayer then Warioe Ware, Rayman, Big brain Academy and especially Mario Strikers are well worth it. As a question why not Zelda, the games is incredible? PS My birthday is on the 14th too
kcl91
Cool thanx guys. I guess i made up my decision. I'll pickup Resi 4 for £30. £20 i'll spend on some Wii Points i guess. All of the stuff will tide me over until MP3:Corruption and Paper Mario! Thanx again,: peace:
Coolness Bears
Get Resi 4 it is a godly game!!! Best version is on the Wii. I would also recommend Mario Strikers but only for the online multiplayer. The game is not that fun in single player.
welsh_gamer
As you have £50 to spend, at Argos you can purchase 2 Wii games for £40. Red Steel, Rayman Ravin Rabbids and Eledees are highlights in this pretty cool offer.
dannbrownn
Wii Play is worth as it is the best way to get a second controller, and that second controller is well worth having! I promise you wii sports multi-player is legendary! I would suggest some wii points, just to get, Super Mario Bro's, and Donkey Kong! And just for the sheer crazyness and glimpse into the possibilities that the wii has i would also suggest WarioWare Smooth Moves! Oh and one last thing... WELCOME TO THE CLUB... ONCE YOU HAVE THE WII YOU WILL OFFICIALLY BE CERTIFIED AWESOME!
kcl91
Zelda looks like a great game, but i just never got into the Zelda franchise. Link to the past was the only game i enjoyed. kcl91
Sorry i haven't posted back sooner. I was quite busy playing with my new Wii , and we're also having new carpets put in the house so the only thing in my room is my bed, the computer and my tv with my wii! just on some random table, lol. I am enjoying fiddling about with all the channel, i bought the 'internet channel' and downloaded 'everybody votes' and 'paper mario'. I also went on wii sports and am certified as a pro! and i also like wii play (£2, lol). But i gotta say, i like Sonic but Resi 4 rules, can't put it down! and yes i think im certified awesome! Lookie at my Wii!: ps. where do i find out my wii number and what can i plug into the USB ports (ipod, psp?)
The Lillster
Click on the mail icon, on the Wii Menu, and then click on the address book. It should tell you there. And, atm there isn't much you can do with the USB ports.
