danny
Finally got around to buyin a Wii today. Along with Scarface Wii play And BIg brain. On the hole im impressed. Still struggeling with the controls. But im sure that will come with a bit more practice. I am very impressed with scarface. When i first saw they were going to make a game i thaught it would be a crappy cash in. but after seeing some good reviews online i thaught i would give it ago. Its done really well and it is making me really want to watch the film for about the 1000th time What other games would people recomend. Im only on leave for 3 weeks and cant give the time that zelda would need. As im hardly at home games that you can pick up and play randomly are best for me. Guest Jordan
Mario Strikers (only if you're online) Sonic and the Secret Rings. And you can easily beat Zelda in 30 hours, so... I don't see why you couldn't do that in 3 weeks
ThePigMarcher
For pick up and play I would recommend checking out Eledees , Excite Truck and possibly SSX Blur.
EchoDesiato
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edtion, you could call it pick up and play seeing as there are a lot of save points. Excite Truck

Goron_3
Resi 4: Wii edition is great. You're getting the best version of one of the greatest games ever made! Excitetruck is a great game if you can find it for £20. Great controls and an amazing game once you're into it.

gaggle64
Heatseeker. You don't need to love planes to enjoy it, just explosions.
danny
my mrs saw mario party 8 on tv and really wants it. but some of the reviews havent been great, but mostly as it dosent add anything to the series. Seen as how neither of us have ever played a mario party game before do you think its worth a buy?
K-project
I got one yesterday too, and it's effect in the house has been explosive. So far I've just got Sports and Resident Evil 4, but it's certainly enough to be getting on with. Planning to get Excite Truck next. Funny that, after years of playing games with regular controllers, it does take some adjusting to the motion sensing. I was shocked to see my missus and the kiddie destroy me on the Sports games, and Resi 4 was a bit of a culture shock. I've played the GC version nearly to completion, so thought this was the ideal time to play it through again. After a bit of acclimatising, you really start to understand Nintendo's approach and what they are trying to achieve.
Dark Wolf
Get Paper Mario (on the VC). It's fantastic

Seen as how neither of us have ever played a mario party game before do you think its worth a buy? If you havnet played a Mario Party game before then sure give it a whirl. The thing about Mario Party 8 is, at least for me, the series has become quite stale and alot of the earlier Mario Party games are just far superior. Its still a laugh to play its just not as good as it could have been.
Dexter
Im a new wii owner, got mine 2 weeks ago and i really love it. I have a 360 too and it makes a really nice change to be able to play games just for the fun of it. I have Resi 4, Twighlight Princess and wii play (aswell as sports) and cant get enough of it really. Was meant to ask on here what other games are worth a purchase. Whats excite truck like? Excite Truck is a must have game for any Wii owner as many will tell you on these boards. Its just so fun to play and it is very addictive. david.dakota
RE4 is a must. SSX Blur is also great fun, as is Excite Truck. I understand that Zelda may not be completable (without hiding from the rest of the world!), but consider it. On the Virtual Console, i'm lovin' Paper Mario at the moment. MIssed this classic on N64 (and incidentally, the sequel GC). Lylat Wars/Starfox, and Mario 64.

welsh_gamer
Wario Ware if you want multiplayer proper fun!! Mario Party is a bore, unless the game is going to be mainly played by under 10's.
