Ramar Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 I want to cry! Don't worry it's just like pre-abramovich.
Gizmo Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Phew. Celtic 2-1 Rangers Celtic missed a penalty after a defender blocked a goal with his arm and got sent off, then score a winner in injury time. And of course the obligatory fight after the whistle went. 1 point behind now. I'll ignore the 2 games in hand that Rangers have.
kyletherobot Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Celtic-Rangers was a good match, great stop by Cuellar haha. I thought for a second he was going to get away with it. I was meant to be doing uni work but it was worth it for a good game.
darksnowman Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I wouldn't get too excited. Its the first time Celtic have beat the Gers in a good while and with their games in hand Rangers must still be favourites to win the league this year. Rangers are also flying the flag well in the Uefa Cup- its been a good season so far for Scotlands big club.
dwarf Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I thought Celtic always had the upper hand on Rangers, goes to show how much I know (care) about the SPL
Ramar Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Is the SPL still a Mickey Mouse league? The question is; Will the SPL ever not be a Mickey Mouse league?
spirited away Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 The question is; Will the SPL ever not be a Mickey Mouse league? Top2, 22 points clear of third.
Ramar Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Top2, 22 points clear of third. And the English press complain about the 'top 4'. Got myself a seat for our last home game of the season against Everton. Finally the Ticket Exchange or how ever the seat got back on sale has paid off. Now I've got to try and find another one for my brother, going to matches no your tod isn't as fun.
Gizmo Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I thought Celtic always had the upper hand on Rangers, goes to show how much I know (care) about the SPL We usually do, this season we had a mid season collapse and everything went to potty (out of both cups, Champs League, way behind in the league). Rangers as far as I can see aren't particularly great this season, just not as bad as we are. Is the SPL still a Mickey Mouse league? Yes.
Charlie Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I thought Celtic always had the upper hand on Rangers, goes to show how much I know (care) about the SPL It changes every few seasons. Celtic have had it for about 3 years now, Rangers are due a turn.
dazzybee Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Due to not winning a trophy YET AGAIN. Arsenal have had to sell the dugouts to ease the debt caused by their new stadium.
Roostophe Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Caption competition. A Jap's eye is shoved up an arse.
spirited away Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Due to not winning a trophy YET AGAIN. Arsenal have had to sell the dugouts to ease the debt caused by their new stadium. Lol, bit cheeky that. : peace:
dwarf Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Hehe. I just thought of one for Arsene: Not up to the jobby?
Ramar Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Surely Arsene's one has to; "In a recent bid to reduce Arsene's infamous "I didn't see it", the Football Association have forced the Gunners boss to sit closer to the touch line".
dwarf Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 ^ Yeah, something like that. Forgive morning errors. Van Der Sar, taking a quote from Longest Yard VDS: "How does it look?" Physio: "Errr. Kinda like a young Michael Jackson"
Ice9 Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Its interesting that Reading seem to have picked out Van Persie as the danger man, Bikey is man marking him all over the field..
Gizmo Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Lool. Guess who Celtic are playing today to replace Caldwell (who is suspended).
spirited away Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 We should have just had a penalty, absolutely stonewall!
Ramar Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Its interesting that Reading seem to have picked out Van Persie as the danger man, Bikey is man marking him all over the field.. Bikey kicked him all over the field. I don't understand how he wasn't sent off, the amount of off the ball kicks, and reckless tackles he made. Anyway, great performance, haven't seen us play that well in a long time, Walcott and Van Persie were amazing. Cesc and Slowberto had good games too. Thankfully the performance made up for only having 4 hours sleep this morning, stupid work.
Platty Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I watched the match earlier and Waclott and V. Persie were amazing for you today. Just got United Blackburn on. C'maan we need to 3 points before next week with Chelski.
Fandango Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Home Away Away Green Liverpool's new kit, loving the look of the Away jersey. Thank god they finally got rid of those collars too.
Ramar Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 That Green Away Kit is rather nice. Just got my brother a ticket for the Everton game on the Ticket Exchange. What an excellent day.
