Kurtle Squad Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I reckon NOE will try a Pokémon Xmas...I can see Christmas '07 to be a great one for Nintendo.
ZeldaFreak Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Yeah a pokemon xmas then cram in Brawl and Bwii. Noe are kind of lazy when they ome to releasing games over here in europe. And not releasing games over here in europe as well
Cube Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Yeah a pokemon xmas then cram in Brawl and Bwii. Noe are kind of lazy when they ome to releasing games over here in europe. And not releasing games over here in europe as well They're not that bad now...at least the time differences are getting shorter, and we even get some games before the US or Japan, or even both.
Dcubed Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Well, Super Mario Strikers Charged comes out in June in Aussie land, so that's the latest date for when the Wii's online service can possibly go online. PBR uses the DS's WFC service.
DanielTimothy Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Sounds good.Pitty about the recent estimates that predict the release of the LAN adapter will occur some time in August 2050... Play.com £14.99
The Bard Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 I hope it doesn't suck too hard, and there's some way to voice chat.
ZeldaFreak Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Play.com £14.99 You can only use the offical one though says so on nintendos website
Cube Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 You can only use the offical one though says so on nintendos website Do you think Datel would sell a "Wii LAN Adapter" if it didn't work with the Wii?
DanielTimothy Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 You can only use the offical one though says so on nintendos website Whats the point in that then?
That Guy Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Online gaming is without a doubt the future imo. It's so much more fun than... well, anything that's come before. That's why the 360 is played every night with friends whilst my Wii collects dust. I really hope Nintendo do create a good online system. Because a hell of a lot of people want it. And I want to play Mario Kart with my friends all over the world and be able to talk to them. It's not that much to ask for. Totally spot on there. I think the 360 crowd from this forum can all tell you how great it is being able to easily organise online games with each other and then all chat to each other while we play.
ShadowV7 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 That's the point why Datel are selling them,be stupid to sell them if there not gonna work now
ZeldaFreak Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 That's the point why Datel are selling them,be stupid to sell them if there not gonna work now I'm just going off the official website. Check it out for yourselves http://wiiportal.nintendo-europe.com/417.html
Guest Jordan Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Isn't it obvious? A company wants you to buy their products, of course they'll tell you that.
ZeldaFreak Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 No it says non nintendo usb to lan adapters wouldn't work on it. And just look at THE Ganandorf's troubles. It may work fine on NSTC consoles - but we always get kicked up the ass when it's important things.
Charlie Posted March 11, 2007 Author Posted March 11, 2007 ZeldaFreak, want a bet on it? Seriously, I will buy one of those for £15, if it works you pay me back the £15, if it doesn't I'll send you £15.

Heh I don't bet at all on anything - but I'll import the japanese one or wait till the noe get their act together. But get one and report back here for us.
Charlie Posted March 11, 2007 Author Posted March 11, 2007 I don't need one, my wireless connection works perfectly. Anyway, would Datel really sell a product which doesn't work. There is absolutely no need for anyone to buy it just to see if it works.
ZeldaFreak Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Well they could of made them before testing them on a wii. You can use them on other products beside the wii I use one to connect my laptop up to my main computer. But I digress we will probably see the official one when the ifrst online game gets released in europe
flameboy Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Anyway, would Datel really sell a product which doesn't work. There is absolutely no need for anyone to buy it just to see if it works. Exactly...they would just have a legion of returns of this was the case...so surely it must work.
ZeldaFreak Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Or that no one has bought it. I'll get it and I will do a review for n-europe.
christophicus Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Isnt there a few people on these forums that have had problems with getting it to work??
Tellyn Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 There may be problems, but Datel wouldn't make and mass-produce a product that didn't work.
Cube Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Or that no one has bought it. I'll get it and I will do a review for n-europe. It's selling rather well at Play.com.
