THE ganondorflol
Dude, where are the Dutchies? O wait. You Brits are weird. And so are the Italians, and French too. And the Irish are too. Unless Ireland means Northern Ireland, then that would be included with the weird Brits. No offense, but you dutch aren't exactly famous for rugby. I want England to win...Even if it is unlikely. We brits are not wierd, just retarded... how else do you think we managed to conquer the biggest empire ever (including Australia and Canada.) If Italy won (Iknow it is unlikely), then thet would just be greedy- A rich, sunny country who just won the world cup are beeing greedy if they vote. motion
England will dismantle the Scots but come second in the tournament based on points difference with Ireland (who'll be first but no GS). RUGBY RULES!!!!!! i think it'll be between Wales and Ireland this year. I never know which team to support because my family is half Irish, half Welsh and i'm English. Though usually i support Ireland. Wales? Based on a drubbing against NZ, 2 losses to Argentina in the summer, a 35 point thrashing by England last year, 5th last 6 Nations, a team that made Canada get 35 points against them? Surely not. I'm not saying England are amazing these days but at least we have a genius coach now, someone who picks good teams, and a good fixture list this time around. The talent has always been there with English players, a lack of gameplan + kicker has cost us. My prediction for the final table: 1. Ireland 2. England (COME ON ENGLAND!) 3. France 4. Wales 5. Scotland 6. Italy.
KingOfHyrule
My prediction would be as follows for an outright win: 1. Ireland 2. France 3. England 4. Wales 5. Scotland 6. Italy I predict no Grand Slam, and either England/Ireland for the Triple Crown :awesome:
conzer16
My prediction is: 1: Ireland 2: France 3: England 4: Wales 5: Scotland 6: Italy A Grand Slam will be hard to come by, but Ireland could do it. Ireland for the Triple Crown at least. England for the Calcutta Cup.

Ice9
I reckon France will take it again. England fan, but not much hope.
KingOfHyrule
Well, no surprise here - France are killing Italy 39 - 3 at 76:21 in.
Haden
Cmon England we need some national pride back after the ashes.
gaggle64
Good start from England. Johnny's some kind of lean, mean scoring machine. Scotland made a couple of good plays, but were just totally out classed. Any thoughts on that try? Twas a close call that.
Jon
Only watched the first half, but from What I saw we were absolute cack, lacked any sort of idea of what we were doing. Dan Parks was far too happy to kick the ball instead of running it.
DCK
Whew I actually watched part of the Italy v France game when I was zapping past BBC. It was quite fun
conzer16
Well, England are back. What a performance by Wilkinson. A somewhat dubious try but a sterling display of kicking prowess (we'll forgive him one miss!) from a man who hasn't played at this level of rugby since he won the World cup 3 years ago! Ireland v England in Croke Park will be some game!!
KingOfHyrule
Yeah England played well today, Wilkinson saved the day - I'm still confident it won't hurt Ireland that much :P well...hoping so lol
Charlie
The thing I don't understand about rugby is why don't they always go for drop-goals? They seem to be far easier than going for a try, even if you do only get a third of the points (if you convert the try that is) if you can get enough of them.... KingOfHyrule
If you get a try, it's a free kick for a goal on top of the 5 points for a try I believe, so it's better to go for the try .
motion
Because drop goals aren't as easy as they look and when you're that close to the opposition try line you should try and go for the try. Great performance by England, completely thumped the Scots in all areas. Typical whinging from their coach about the 'try'. Whether it should have been given or not, who cares, it wouldn't have affected the outcome of the game. Please let's stop with this 'England are back' nonsense. That's what I thought (hoped) after thrashing Wales by 30 points last year but look what happened. We won one game, let's build from there. Wilkinson and Ellis both deserved MOTM. Outstanding. The forwards were immense. Farrell had a good first outing. Oh yes and allow me to laugh in the face of Dougie Hall after his comments during the week. Very exciting the game, the likes of which you'd never find in chavball. COME ON ENGLAND!
gaggle64
Did anyone else notice that there seemed to be a couple of Rokhead clones, one playing for Italy and the other for France?

KKOB
WOOOOO! Todays the day for the best match of the 6 Nations methinks and my prediction for the final table: 1. Ireland 2. Wales 3. France 4. England 5. Scotland 6. Italy (i still haven't saw the results from yesterday so i have virgin eyes atm ) As long as either England, Wales or Ireland win, my family will be mostly happy : peace: !DOWN WITH THE FRENCH! : peace:

KKOB
what a good first half! Ireland was awake at the start unlike wales, but wales soon got shaken up into action. I can't help wanting wales to win this match based on how they've played so far . . .
motion
Ireland were poor compared to how they played in the Autumn, Wales couldn't turn their chances into tries. Amazing game but neither side will be THAT happy.
