Rat Girl

I wanted to say that, but I feared I was wrong and would be rediculed. :red:

I was a big fan of the show, back in the day... Some things, you never forget.

These are real people and this is a real incident, there are no lies told in this story. In Amman, there was a beautiful girl that was singing Karaoke at home happily, but when she was interrupted by her mother’s chanting of the Qur'an she got angry and went into her mother’s room. She shouted at her and then took her Qur'an and threw it. Her mother quickly fetched the book and hugged on to it to stop her from doing further damage to it.

Unless it was a mistranslation, Muslims don't "chant" the Qur'an. We read it. Besides, the "picture" of the girl looks too professionally taken. She doesn't look like she lives on an island, nor does she look Asian.

When they said chant, I think they just mean "read outloud." I know plenty of muslims who do that. (granted, that's usually in a Mosque)

I think she needs to find 3 other, and get some motorbikes.

You need three MICE, not rats. Stupid! MICE, with Martian Antennae on their heads.

Meh. At least we now know it's a fake, since the image was originally made in a photoshop contest on a forum. The paper that published the article just made a whole new story out of it.

I just found out that it isn't a photoshop.

It's a sculpture by Australian Artist Patricia Piccinini.

Here's another photo, albeit from a different angle.

Not a real child; it's part of the installation. Just checked the site of the artist and she has more of these humans she made. Like two boys playing GBA. Or a little girl with some disturbing looking flesh lumps on the ground that she's playing with.

That child looks like she has the face of an adult.

Scary.

That sculptor is talented, but his work is really ugly.

Isn't the artist a woman?
